I ordered 2 6-packs on Sept 1st and they arrived today. Both contained the same 6 figs. Both versions of Moon Knight, both Hawkeyes, Echo, and She Hulk. I figured they’d divide the Moon Knights, Hawkeyes, and X-Men between the two boxes. The figures I wanted were the 3 X-Men and my gamble was that even in a worst case scenario I’d get at least one of them in the 6-pack box. I couldn’t have imagined that they wouldn’t divide the Moon Knights, Hawkeyes, and X-Men between the two boxes to break up the similar characters and force people to go out and keep buying more to collect the ones they want. I can’t help but think that if they’d grabbed two boxes from another pile I could have had duplicate sets of the new X-Men characters!!! Anyway…I didn’t see anyone posting about the 6-pack box distribution, so hopefully this post helps someone else out there.

Still waiting for minifiguremaddness to receive their CMF boxes (next week hopefully!) :purrr: The only drawback to ordering from them is that it always takes a while before they can dispatch their orders.

Can‘t wait to get my hands on them!

Would anyone bet that the four will be completely different, unreleased characters? The Hasbro X-Jet had Storm in it.

I would be surprised if we finally got an X-Men set without Wolverine in it. But maybe with the show coming out Lego will take the risk of trying to sell a set off of such obscure characters as Cyclops, Jean Grey, Magneto, and Prof X :p.

Overall I don't think CMF Wolvie is a definitive upgrade from the recent Wolverine mech fig

I agree. Maybe it's just the one I got, but the print quality isn't even that good.

Next time I go to my local store, gonna try the scale trick and hope it works.

I considered doing that too, but frankly I don't know how I'd feel being the only guy in the middle of the store balancing the blind boxes. I think it's more inconvenient than trading the repeated minifigures after the fact.

Anyway so far I got:

-She Hulk

-She Hulk again (I later traded her for a Wolverine)

-Agatha

-Hawkeye (can't wait to post about this in the official Jeremy Renner app)

Oh No! I'm prepared for this but hoping I get lucky with all 12! I got 12 different from the Disney series but then they had 18 total. I think my delivery is a day or two away still!

No, it doesn't work like that.

Update: Got another Agatha, I'm going to go insane

So, what you're saying is, it was all Agathas all along?

I'm in the same boat! I've got two orders placed, and have sold complete sets in my local area for a flat $60 each. I can help local AFOLs get them cheap, and even after I pay for shipping from Minifig Madness, I still come out on top and get my set for "free"! Hopefully I can get them all sorted soon though, I'm going to get busy with grad school stuff soon...

I am curious how well this series is going to sell at-large, though. I just read that Echo has been delayed to next year, which mean zero of the characters in this series have a show actively releasing while they are on store shelves. Sure, a good chunk of them are from previous shows, but between the new boxes, some odd choices of characters, and none of their connecting shows coming out, I wonder how many of these will be sold overall...

Mostly, I do lists every now and again to keep track.

In general, January looks like the following:

Oh no not another one, the No Way Home ship has long past sailed... I don't even want the NWH Final Battle set.

Please just give us some sets for Across the Spiderverse, need to have Spiderman 2099 and Scarlet Spider.

Not for most people. I got that NWH final battle WAAAAY earlier than I thought I would, and I am ready for that NWH set. I really hope it's the supposed expansion with a buildible sandman and a lizard figure, fingers crossed! :excited:

No, it hasn’t  A lot of people want that expansion with Lizard! It’s the best-sounding 1HY Marvel set by far.

I'm hoping for a spiderverse CMF. I think that would be the best way to cover the trilogy.

If they could do Spider-Verse sets, they would've done them by now. It's obvious they aren't a thing because of the Sony-Marvel-Disney deals.

The thing is, the ship was never going to sail, because the set include Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield variants along with their villains. You could do that set ten years from now, and people would still buy it just because of the minifigures.

And with the next set including (according to rumours) Lizard, another Electro, and a buildable Sandman, it's also gonna be highly desirable.

Now, what's the betting that they reuse the CMFs in this set, meaning I don't have to go through the pain (or Bricklink relative expense) of getting the X-men and just wait for the set?

I don't think it will happen with the X-Jet.

If the CMF figures are reused its more likely to be in the X-Mansion.

I am actually going to bet that there is going to be some form of reuse, at the very least, if not an outright repeat.

Perhaps reusing a part of the Wolverine CMF into a 'new' Wolverine design?

An outright repeat of a character but with a completely different or slightly different design (as mentioned, perhaps Storm in leather jacket).

Or an actual reuse/ repeat of a whole CMF minifig itself.

Would anyone bet that the four will be completely different, unreleased characters? The Hasbro X-Jet had Storm in it.

Four unique characters seems plausible to me. A lot of X-Men 97 merchandise seems to really be centered around Cyclops, Magneto, Gambit, Rogue and Bishop in particular so I could see those being the primary characters Lego might choose to focus on with the X-Jet.

With the CMF figures I think Wolverine and Storm have a good chance of being completely reused for the X-Mansion. If the set is themed around X-Men 97 it wouldn't make sense to be putting them in costumes they never wear on the show. Beast could end up being the lab coat variant we saw in the preliminary image with only the head and hair reused.

I'm assuming the Spider-Man is an integrated repeat, but it'd be a cherry on top to get some battle-damage for it or an Angry Holland face print. Or an electro face print without the mask. That said, so long as the set has a good buildible sandman and a Lizard minifigure, it's an instant buy from me!

The same rumour says that it's the Black & Gold suit, which would be just a repeat from the weird Drone vs. Vulture set.

Even better, I'm missing that one. Would that imply it's based on the first electro/sandman scene and the Lizard is just there because we're missing him?

Yeah. Provided that the description is real.

I think Cyclops is a pretty safe bet for the X-Jet. He’s the leader of the X-Men and he only needs a face and torso print. Dual molded legs with printing would be great, but IMO he doesn’t need them. Magneto needs dual molded arms, but otherwise, I think they could pull him off with nothing more than torso and head printing. Rogue and Gambit both need dual molded legs with printing. There’s no way to pull those two off otherwise, which is why I think they’re gonna be saved for the mansion. Figures with more detailing are usually saved for the larger sets. Bishop is the same as Cyclops, except not as important and I could them skipping him.

As for the other members of the team we haven’t seen in the CMF, Jubilee and Cable fall in the same box as Rogue and Gambit. Same with Nightcrawler who also needs recolored molds. Jean doesn’t need even leg printing or dual molding, so she’s a good pick for the jet. Same with Forge, except he’s less iconic. Morph and Sunspot I can them skipping.

If I were to bet on a lineup for the X-Jet, I’d go with Cyclops, Jean, Magneto, and either Wolverine reused or Rogue but with plain green legs instead of dual molding and boots (which are saved for her appearance in the mansion). All pretty iconic characters. Nobody needs anything fancier than dual molded arms, so it’s not a big drain on the budget for figures. But, I’m probably wrong and Lego will likely surprise me (hopefully in a good way.)

Penso che Ciclope sia una scommessa abbastanza sicura per l'X-Jet. È il leader degli X-Men e ha solo bisogno di una stampa del viso e del busto.

I'd love for Cyclops to have a new toupee with a molded visor... I hope there's enough budget for some new pieces

Dual molded legs would be preferable but I could see Lego cheapen out on a couple characters. Rogue could very easily just get leg printing like this Wolverine figure.

Gambit and Jubilee could also use the printed trench coat technique that a lot of other minifigures have been using lately.

One character who will definitely need dual molded arms is Mystique. I just can't see them pulling off her animated/comic costume without it. She's already expected to appear in the mansion so hopefully they can find the budget for it. Also hoping she gets the new Bo-Katan hairpiece in red.

A molded visor would look great! I'm expecting him to come with a printed one again like last time but it would still be nice if they did decide to go all out with a specialized piece.

I can't think of too many other characters who really need new molds. Mainly big figs like Apocalypse and Juggernaut but I doubt we'll be seeing them next year.

The difference between Gambit and Jubilee and those recent examples is that Gambit and Jubilee have coats that are a very different color from their pants. They need the dual molding, otherwise they’re gonna have to print tan on black and yellow on blue, and those usually don’t turn out so well. Doesn’t mean Lego won’t cheap out, and they likely will. But, it’s gonna look bad if they do.

Also, as far as that leaked X-Mansion is concerned, I wouldn’t take the figures shown there as guarantees. But Mystique would be great.

Or worse, just leave those characters out altogether.
