A single horrendously overpriced set, and I wonder what do they expect. I can't imagine it selling particularly well at that price. And if it doesn't, what will be their conclusion? People don't like X-Men? 14 hours ago, brickbride said: That's exactly what I am worried about with the Hoopty: the set not selling well at that price, and Lego blaming it on the all-female minifigure selection (in a Superhero theme, too). Lego made a huge set out of the Little Mermaid re-make during a time (Disney 100) that collectors are expecting classics. I wonder what Lego's conclusions were. LOL I think X-Men sets have long been wanted that the Mansion, if the build is decent, should sell well. But with cost of living also going up, it may disenfranchise a lot of fans. I do think the market is there, but I don't think it is quite to the level of anticipation as the recent Rivendell set.

I’m hoping for an in scale quinjet which can hold a few figs that can land on top like in the movie. Also even though it’s a bit of a meme with how many we get but id also love a more big fig sized Hulkbuster and Veronica satellite. Could be fun side builds. I gotta say and no offense, I don't want any of those builds with the tower. I want it all to just be the tower, so it's massive. I don't mind a car like the Bugle, if something has to be included, but I want all pieces going to the Tower. Can't wait for the leaked images!

Bugle technically has 4 sidebuilds... Sandman, Green Goblin Glider, Spider Buggy and the Taxi. Hopefully Avenger's Tower will implement the sidebuilds tastefully. I would love to see an Ultron breakout section similar to Green Goblin, not a fan of static buildings without built-in action scenes. Edited September 11, 2023 by LegendaryArticuno

If you want to count the goblin glider, spider-mobile and sandman as side builds, then they're very small. I can agree with enjoying built-in action scenes in buildings sets but I definitely don't want big side builds like the quinjet, hulkbuster and veronica satellite taking up piece space for the tower. Would much rather have a large building with a detailed interior, especially with the amount of windows the avengers tower has.

We just got an amazing Quinjet and Hulkbuster this year, they're not gonna waste pieces for it in the Avengers Tower Sure, they could make them much smaller (like Slave I in Cloud City), but I feel like that would be repetitive. squiz18 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I imagine we'll get a small chitauri flyer as well. I'd have thought there would be lots of those clear bar prices to have figures and things flying round the tower

After all, it is a series that Lego is promoting, so shouldn't some scenes be depicted in smaller sets throughout the year? Perhaps two or three small sets??? Hopefully they have a few surprises ready in the summer wave. I'm expecting it will just be more Infinity Saga sets again but I'll be happy if we at least get a Sentinel set thrown in there somewhere. 20 hours ago, DaredevilFan said: With Avengers tower reveal most likely being next month, what small features or possible inclusions are you guys hoping for? Just any characters missing from the leaked minifigure list. Quicksilver, Loki and Selvig are the main omissions that stood out to me. I'm also hoping Ant-Man comes as a regular sized minifigure and not just a repeat of the trophy piece. It doesn't make sense to leave him out if we're getting a new Wasp minifigure and who knows when those two are going to be revisited again after how poorly their last film did. Coulson and Maria Hill would also be welcome for the sake of completion but realistically I don't expect to see either of them appear here. More likely we'll have to wait for a SHIELD Helicarrier remake to get them again.
thebricksbear Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Really it's criminal that Quicksilver or Selvig would be excluded given they have scenes IN the tower and either haven't gotten figs ever or haven't had them in a decade. Helen Cho is a nice inclusion. I agree that Quinjet won't be included, the version that just came out seems obviously to be a companion to the tower, a la Gargantos battle and Sanctorum Sanctum. If there's going to be swappable Stark/Avengers plates, my pipe dream is to have a "Qeng" plate (a la Loki s1) and a Kang fig.

I'd hope the tower display as a solid 360 build, yet have the abiltiy to open to reveal the interior rooms for playability purposes. In terms of aspects I'd hope would be included in some form: Side Build: Chitauri vehicle On Roof: Portal opening/closing device Built Into Roof: Iron-Legion assembly area (could have an Iron Man figure instead) Floor 4: Seating area, Bar Floor 3: Lab area with depiction of Jarvis Vs Ultron lab battle & Vision's Container Floor 1 & 2: Individual Avengers Rooms each area is specific to one of the core Avengers: Cap, Thor, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Hawkeye and Tony Ground level: Lobby & Table with hologram of the varying Avengers & Stark Industries Sign in the reception area The Daily Bugle has 3,772 pieces and this Avengers Tower is believed to have 5,261 pieces so I feel it has room to have an extra floor.

I like this setup. I'd also include the gym with the boxing ring and punching bag. No idea if that's actually in the tower, but that scene with Cap punching the crap out of the punching bag is so cool in The Avengers. Honestly, if this tower is anything like Dream Build Bricks' tower I'll be happy.

Not sure where it was either ><

Not too much longer before I get them... For those who ordered the Marvel Series 2 boxes from minifigure madness, can you post the distribution and numbers for your box here on the forum? I ordered one too. I’d like to see if we can get an informal census of where certain figs get placed in each box to see if there’s any consistency. Maybe we can help others by posting the figure positioning here so others can have a better chance to find the specific figs they’re looking for? I’d also like to see if each box ACTUALLY contains 3 complete sets of minifigs or if the distribution puts unequal numbers of Echos or Warewolves in there at the expense of other figs. I’ve seen a few people post that they didn’t get 3 complete sets of 12 but instead got 5 or 9 repeats of the two characters mentioned above. What do you think?

I ordered six boxes of Disney minifigs from them, and I got almost all complete sets. If I remember right, I was short a Stich and Mulan and had an extra Evil Queen and a Queen of Hearts - so, I wasn't missing any minifigures, it was just packed incorrectly. I'll try to keep track of the positioning for these ones when I get them though!

I highly doubt Hulk won‘t be a bigfig since that‘s what all the leakers have been saying. The rumours being untrue would be very disappointing, but a backlash forcing them to redo the set? Nah, that ain‘t happening in a million years. They simply wouldn’t spend a ton of money on designing a new part (Hulk‘s hairpiece), creating the Thanos body in a new colour, and changing the instructions as well as the boxart, just to appease some fans online. Or has the infamous 2021 Gunship „backlash“ forced them to replace the Clone Commander with a pilot or Cody?
