Which should be the correct color of minifigure for Lizard?

Doesn't matter, they'll make him the worst possible one

Guys we're all thinking about this wrong. It'll be a photorealistic Mark Zuckerberg minifigure, the designer misunderstood being asked to make a lizard minifigure.

That said, it feels obvious to me he should be olive green. What are the other options, realistically?

I’m just gonna leave these here.

<Doc>

<Ock>

Glad I'm not going crazy, when I saw that figure was grey, I went looking for film screenshot reference photos cos to me he was always wearing green, but in all the photos, all I could see was grey

Just chalked it up to a bit of Mandela effect

Thats hysterical. I wish Lego normalized arm printing for this theme and gave every figure who needs arm and leg printing the attention they deserve. Same with newly moulded head or hair pieces. I felt Goblin could have had a shimmer effect to his printing, needed leg and arm printing and it would have been a cherry on top to get that helmet. Doc oc was the wrong color, they gave Electro a reused pant piece when he very well could have had new leg printing given the source material, etc. pair that with the sub par build and I find that final battle set to be extremely underwhelming altogether.

If indeed Storm is not in the X Jet I pray we get Jean. Still lame we only get 4 figures. What could have driven the price up? Lol what if it does indeed turn out tk be a 4+ set..

MCU costumes always have very muted colors for some reason.

So that comic fans like me don’t look crazy when we ask for more comic based content. /s

Well, I went into a LEGO Store today with my gram scale and a determination to get five specific CMF figures. Turns out, weight is a really inaccurate way to get them. But, I got all the ones I wanted by, and you're not going to believe this, shining a light into one of the tiny holes in the corner, and peeking through the tiny hole in the other corner, to see what parts were in there.

And do you know what I've learned from this experience? I'm just going to Bricklink CMFs in future! :laugh:

Instagram seems to be claiming that Storm as the fourth minifigure was a false alarm. That means we might still see someone else.

So Wolverine, Cyclops, and Magneto are the only confirmed characters, then? I can see either Jean or Rogue as the fourth, with Jean being more likely (due to the movies).

So, a re-make of the original set, but without the sentinel. I wonder how similar the jet will be to that original set???

To be fair most MCU movies are so ugly and grey (especially No Way Home) that Doc Ock looks like he's wearing a grey coat most of the time.

Granted, but like, they didn't even need to look at the movie. We've know how he looks like for the past 20 years.

His coat doesn't look green in Spider-Man 2 tho.

It's more of a brown-ish shade.

I'd go with Earth Green majority, Olive Green detailing on the front of the torso. Use black curves to emphasise the scales on his body, similar technique to Lizard Man's torso. Head would Earth Green with Olive Green detailing around the mouth, very similar print to Voldermort with the addition of some scale detail.

In his latest video, @Brick Clicker stated that Storm was the fourth minifig, so we have to wait and see which leakers got the right information ^^

I'd lean to it probably being the same figures as the previous X-Men Jet (Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, Cyclops), the only exception being that they've removed the Sentinel as they'll probably make that its own set or a GWP for the X-Men Mansion which will probably wind up releasing in late 2024.

I know this is off topic but calling the Series 15 Satyr a Capricorn was a bit confusing and also hilarious to me. I actually would love for a Capricorn figure with half goat legs half fish tail that sounds genius. Back to Marvel though…. Yikes.

Oh jeez, I got my goat-legged mythological creatures mixed up! :facepalm: I'll blame it on the fact I was tired when I posted that haha

Also, I honestly care a lot less about which green they use for lizard than I do about his legs. I'll be incredibly disappointed if he doesn't get the digigrade legs.

exabricks also supports the Tempesta thesis. I know that Lego is aimed at today's children, who don't have 76022, but a single new character to make older fans happy would have been appreciated :-p the worst thing is that, unlike Cyclops and Magneto, Storm will be a downgrade of the cmf... (also Wolverine, but that's a different story)

Finally got my Marvel Studios Series 2 box (AU NZ getting one month than ROW since 2021), unpopular opinion I really like the design of the new blind box.  Yes, it's sad I can no longer feel the bags (I got really good at it) but most of the shops here sell complete set and I personally just box a sealed box since it guarantee one set and cheaper this way.

It's unfortunate some of the tied in shows got delayed, hence it's really hard to find appeal in Echo and Goliath even though they are great minifigures.  And as usual there is also THAT missing characters.
The only thing I'm not impressed is not including Kamala (Ms Marvel), guess LEGO wants us to buy the most ridiculously prices set from The Marvels.

Are we sure Storm and Wolverine won’t be the same as in the CMF? It’s not like it’s unheard of for Lego to reuse figures from CMF’s in sets.

I think you might be thinking on the coat he wears under the green one
