Any idea on when we'll get more info on the CMF? If it follows suit it should release in September once again right?

The first leaks were around April/May last I remember, so in a couple months, I'd guess.

According to JJP they are indeed releasing in September.

JeanGreyForever apparently got access to a survey or something that showed a bunch of expensive sets on it from Disney, Harry Potter, DC and the like. They saw one for Marvel that was apparently the X-mansion. People are rightfully skeptical, but a Malificent dragon diorama marked with lego's standard confidential marking just leaked in the usual place, and that was one of the sets they apparently saw. If you look at their recent history you can see what they have allegedly leaked. While it is advisable to be cautious with this information, I genuinely do believe this information may be true.

Thanks, that's clearer.

So in theory the dragon's source could confirm the whole list

Why do you guys want the hair on the top? It would look like you're displaying Star Lord's severed head, which is most likely why they decided not to include it.

I don't necessarily want the hair ontop, but it probably could have had some more work done to obscure the middle segment and anti-studs.

Official reveal for the previous one was in July. We had a rough confirmation of figure selection in April, but that was provided by Bohner who sadly disappeared... maybe in a time of great need the Bohner will rise again. Best guess we'll get information on the figures by the end of April and confirmation/reveal in July. The release date is indeed September.

I believe we had remarks on the Malificent Dragon and a Snow White Cottage prior, so I would not necessarily use its existence to justify the remarks made. We've had situations in the past where someone has used pre-existing remarks on sets via more legitimate sources as a platform for shoveling their own 'leaks'.

Just think its best keeping a healthy level of skepticism.

I think the helmet might be my favourite one yet across themes in terms of pure aesthetics, but it does look really small for that price. I'll gladly buy it if it gets a deep discount at some point but 80 euros for something that small feels silly even for 2023 licensed sets standards.

Excellent  Fingers crossed the other GotG sets get revealed soon too :excited:

Hope so. Might end up seeing them before the Ant Man one at this rate

Sure, but they couldn‘t push set production forward after The Marvels and Quantumania swapped places so instead they decided to keep the original release date

Feels like we've been speculating about the ant man one for ages and the guardians ones have snuck up on us.

A survey? That's... interesting. How does one take this survey?

Visited a toystore here in the Netherlands today. The gauntlet and helmets are warming shelves big time. Meanwhile the mechs and tinier playsets are selling much better. I feel this repeats the pattern that I experienced back as a Lego buying child. A smaller, cheaper set is much more accessible to children, we've known that. But with inflation, I wonder if it's not the same for the casual adult consumer?
With products like the Hulkbuster and BP bust becoming more frequent, I really wonder if continuing big sets like this would do more harm than good?

Also, about the potential X-mansion set. I could defenitely buy in to that rumor.
X-men 97 is big time nostalgia hype. The show wouldn't be revived if it weren't for the huge nostalgia factor that Disney likes to cash in on. And since Disney and Lego are keen to jump onto nostalgia bandwagons as of late, combined with the increase of sets oriented towards adults, I could defenitely see it.

And where can I buy this reverse underwear from Armani? Asking for a friend obviously.

I think the only locations that sell it are New York, London, and Hong Kong.

Star-Lord helmet looks excellent, but $10 more than the SW helmets for a hollow one with no top? What?

And between the dragon and LOTR it's starting to look like I owe @JeanGreyForever an apology for my skepticism.

What fit?

I'm just trying to explain that it's fake. It's all been made-up, and we should just move on.

So uh this is ironic isn’t it?

I am still sceptical.  Does the same Lego that pulverizes accounts for a minifigure leak show material still in the works without protecting secrecy?  It all seems too strange to me

Perhaps, perhaps not. I'm taking it with a huge grain of salt for now.

And even if it turns out to be true, people had every reason to believe it's fake. People like that appear on this forum regularly, usually talking about Zelda.

Dude, everybody was skeptical of this news. I’m still skeptical and very much on @THELEGOBATMAN’s side. If this leaker is correct, then this would be the best year for Lego EVER. We have leaks for the X-Mansion, Barad-dur, Zelda Great Deku tree, a Batman: The Animated Series set, etc. all coming from the same source. This all seems too good to be true. I would take this all as a grain of salt until we hear something from @Falconfan1414, @Brick Clicker or Lego.

Promobricks has shed some light.  Even if the source is legitimate, it is not guaranteed that the sets will come out, and even if they come out it could be within a few years

I know right? It's obviously true, but it sounds extremely surreal.

Like, Lego is always extremely secretive with everything. Them showing a single D2C already sounds farfetched, but how did they randomly decide to show all of those? Have those surveys allways been a thing but no one decided to leak them?

Star Lord Helmet looks good... wonder if we'll see the other vol 3 sets soon.

X-Mansion sounds like a dream come true, especially if it's based on the animated series

Everybody... except a few. Oh the ones yall were saying were stupid for believing it. Thats not everyone. Once again you are just taking a few people who want to control this sub and saying they are the majority when they are not. It was mostly @thelegobatman just calling everyone dumb for even reading the leaks

I am not at all the market for the helmets so perhaps my opinion doesn't really matter, but I just don't get what they were going for with the Star Lord helmet. It looks good for the most part, but the whole top being empty just does not work at all. I can appreciate that they were stuck between a rock and a hard place since I imagine building the hair would look odd too (not to mention that it'd increase the price a good deal), yet I can't help but think that this was not the best way to go about it.
