So either it's a retailer exclusive or it's fake. The first minifigure was in Strucker's fortress (by the way his castle is 20 minutes from my house :-D), which with that outfit wasn't accurate. To be accurate it should be in the final battle, but we know how much Lego loves remakes, and since so many would like a new Ultron, we will definitely get a new Strucker :-D

Not sure how far out these kind of leaks can happen from.

There’s a Quicksilver figure coming in an unknown set. Quicksilver was an X-Men in the films and has been featured in the comics and cartoons. Storm has lighting bolts, white hair, and wears white or black. Quicksilver has lighting bolts, white hair, and wears gray (black + white). Quicksilver is the son of Magneto. Magneto is in the Blackbird. I think it’s safe to say that Quicksilver is the fourth figure in the Blackbird. Mystery solved gang.

PsychoBuilder Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I would not even remotely expect it, but does anyone think it's possible that we might see a fig scaled helicarrier? Of the original AOU sets where a Quicksilver would make sense, the only things we really don't have some representation for now are Hydra and Ultron bots, and I don't see either of those making a ton of sense. Maybe the Ultron throne diorama, but I'd kind of bet against a remake of Strucker's fortress, seeing as how little screen time it got, and I doubt it'd make a lot of sense as a set today, seeing as how few we get. Maybe something could be made to the effect of the Hydra truck or something? The 2020 helicarrier just retired, and it seems like maybe something that Lego would want to do. They're obviously still revisiting the first two movies, and Quicksilver does appear in at least one scene I can remember with one. That said, I would again not expect this at all, just tossing an idea out there.

SpiderJazz Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 If the torso is legit and Quicksilver is indeed coming in a set, the only thing I can think of is Final Battle of Sokovia. It would be like the Endgame and No Way Home. This is the scene where they fight mid air to save Sokovia from falling. I can imagine some flying Ultron Sentries with Prime Ultron battling the Avengers with a display base and arches like the SDCC exclusive Ultron set. It would be great addition to the “Final Battle” set of display for MCU. Could be also a chance to have a full on Vision minifigure without the “phasing” translucent legs.

thebricksbear Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 The AoU finale is the obvious choice for a new "moments" set, and checks a lot of boxes for a lot of lego collectors. I wouldnt be surprised if Quicksilver appears in a random set a la Iron Man armory/Whiplash however.

Obviously there are some differences, but it makes me wonder if they might take more inspiration from the movies or the comics to help differentiate the two buildings.

Honestly, I would have preferred her to take Storm or Beast’s place in the CMF line, since those two can be done with regular levels of detailing; Rogue needs dual-moulded arms and legs, printed legs, and either dual-moulded or printed hair (likely a new piece, too, given how floofy it is).

The print on her legs is good, but they needed to be dual-moulded (she is going to look weird from the side); the lack of dual-moulded arms is tolerable, and I do appreciate the printed hair, but can we please get a new default long hairpiece?? I am truly tired of this one, and it looks far too flat for Rogue. I am happy that we get a new head print with headband, though, since LEGO could easily have just reused an existing one.

Wow… bad… at first glance I thought the head was a poor Jean custom. Disappointing. Will wait to see what happens with the mansion but the jet is a miss for me unless something truly massive changes.
