Immagino che sia abbastanza spoiler che non possano fare merce da esso. Spiega anche perché non ha affatto una maschera nei trailer e nel merchandising. where did you hear this? I haven't read anything about it… anyway it seems like an aspect to exploit in the merchandise, not to hide
Surge Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) just got out of ant man (liked it more than i thought i would have) and had some ideas about the set, they are not really spoilers, but ill tag them just in case Spoiler So if they were to keep the set they made, I think it could definitely work, just add a kang fig and side build, then throw in a cassie fig, and maybe hank or janet. Then, do a set thats pretty much the exact same build, just cassie. throw in an ant man microfig, a wasp minifig, hank or janet (depending on the other set), and modok as a side build. I think this would fix alot of the problems Edited February 17, 2023 by Surge

We get wave after wave of marvel sets with, in the past few years, very little for DC. Flash isn't out yet, but comparing the test reactions and plot leak from that to quantumania (which I just saw. It's what I imagine being on drugs to feel like. Jonathan Majors was the only good thing from it, too.), DC's got a chance to retake some ground. It feels like the two franchises are about to get back to at least equal footing popularity wise, and it'd be nice to get some DC sets back. Weirdly, despite liking quantumania MUCH less than I thought I would, I kinda like the set more after this, since it's not exclusively for quantumania and works as just a big ant-man. I might actually get it on sale at some point, maybe modding the helmet, and throw him in my avengers display.
GoldenNinja3000 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) Uh, that was definitely a movie. I'm still disappointed we didn't get a real Quantumania set, but after seeing it I think I'll live. Minifigures of the main characters would've been nice but I didn't like any of their designs that much so it's not a big loss. Edited February 17, 2023 by GoldenNinja3000

I'm going to wait for Disney+... hopefully it's atleast better than War for Wakanda. Felt like I wasted my entire night watching that movie.
THELEGOBATMAN Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Same, I won't even bother to watch in theatres. Marvel Studios has somehow killed my interest in this franchise in a span of a year. Impressive.
spiderfan2000 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I just got back from seeing the movie, enjoyed it more than the second movie overall, but I'd still rank the first one above it. 7.5/10 Really needed at least one additional set, I hope LEGO will decide to revisit it in the next few years.
Agent Kallus Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Yeah the first Ant-Man movie is of my favourite MCU movies ( alongside the guardians, Thor and Spider-man ones), the second ant-man movie was meh really but this one just looks to lack the appeal of the other 2, the Quantum realm just looks like something out of spykids to me, and the suggest premise and tone from the trailers aren't enticing me, I'll watch it on Disney+ eventually but yeah it looks kinda meh. Honestly lately I've been liking the D+ shows more than the movies for marvel.
steveholt Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 No Cosmo, High Evolutionary, MODOK, Ant Man, Wasp, Cassie, Namora and Kang this year is definitely a kick in the pills
neithan Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Just bought the Morbius Mobile - what a neat little set! Found it for 15,79€, at this price I just couldn`t resist.^^

Take that positivity elsewhere! 🤣😅 Back on to the negativity; Putting the 2023 Marvel CMF in boxes means people will be opening boxes in store to get the ones they want and leaving opened boxes on the shelf that people won't buy because they've been tampered with. Lego will decide CMFs don't sell anymore and it'll be the end of CMFs.

This was a big problem with vidiyo, where people just opened the box, and then decided to steal, got to the point where it was easier to find the box, rather than a sealed one, but this is mississippi, so that's my 2 cents
Thwip Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I actually really like Quantumania. Definitely needs sets with minifigures though

Buckethead Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 The Marvels just got delayed to November. The set's scheduled for May though. What are the chances we get another Gargantos situation and the set still drops in a couple months?
PRbrickbuilder Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Could the new Dalmatian mold from the Disney CMF be used to Cosmo? I don't know if they are able to print the whole head of the modl (since Cosmo has nougat/brown fur). Just to know if this is another Firefly helmet situation...

Legocentrico Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Maybe they realized it sucks apart from AntMan :-)

It's probably almost solely because of the 'burnout.' Ironheart, Echo, and The Marvels have already completed reshoots and at this point are probably finished editing too. July and Xmas are the biggest movie release times of the year... without looking at what's coming out, my guess would be that they moved the Marvels to drive up anticipation and ditch any competition with other big releases. edit: I thought Antman was fine. The Kang portions of the movie were great, and in truth Antman just isn't that interesting. The movie certainly doesn't deserve the flack it's getting, and is probably a mid-tier MCU entry. It's too edgy to hate Marvel now that so many people that were really invested in the spectacle rather than the movies themselves have had a good stopping point in Endgame.
