Hopefully its a modular Avengers Tower and not another Hulkbuster based on the Infinity War version.

@FoggyFate have you heard anything about what 76266 (the unknown $99 set) could be?

Not enough to give it a specific name yet.

No. It doesn't have to be. Could be a giant buildable Groot or Venom.

As long as the proportions are way off and baby groot fits inside I'll be happy

Just a friendly reminder that the Hulkbuster last year had the number mixed up with the Black Panther Bust. That we were told was going to be a Black Panther vehicle. So no offence to anyone here. I just don't put any credit into anything besides set number, price and piece count :/

Yeah that’s pretty much why I’m not saying a name.

Anything you can rule out. I know you've ruled out it being a Hulkbuster and the X-Men Mansion. Any other aspects you can take off the table?

There’s no way they will make the same mistake again and not give us something that we actually crave for.
But knowing LEGO… we just don’t know what to expect.

Sets take over a year to be designed. Even if Lego were to take feedback into account, late 2023 would be too soon to see any changes

What about the DC tease? Let me guess 4 plus set!

I can tell you its not a hulkbuster.

Dc has its own set, I will tell you soon.

Just saw this!

Bring it on!

It feels like the Black Panther vehicle/bust/Hulkbuster days were only last week, and now we’re back.

In all seriousness, this speculation is fun. Even if the results aren’t always what we wanted/thought, I always enjoy this process.

In less seriousness, bring on that $525 Venomized Hulkbuster.

Soon, I’ll let the marvel news die down first.

The nice thing about a $500 D2C is that it's either going to be an amazing must have that people look back on for years and we all save to get it, or an opportunity to do a crazy experiment that can be quite polarizing and fewer people 'have' to get it. I'd love an Avengers' Tower at this price point, because I think it would work really well. But if be happy for fans of a $500 building object and admire it from afar as I build something else. If this is a dud, there are plenty more amazing sets to get. Even if not necessarily in Marvel or DC (having said that, still haven't built my 1989 Batmobile or Batwing).

I believe there was a tease of an AoU Iron Man a while back so I am going to guess it's an Avengers Tower set combining figures from Avengers 1 and AoU. They can reuse all the Quinjet figures and then a good bunch of new ones.

$525 Batmobile to fit the Batman Buildable figure. Just like how Iron Man was the first buildable character. So is Batman here. Can't wait :hmpf_bad:

I know the $525 one is the marvel set, but you horrifyingly might be on to something for the $400ish DC one.

AoU's tower looks significantly different than Avengers 1's, though. My guess is they'd combine figs from Avengers and Endgame, since the tower has the same design there.

^Assuming it's a tower and not a giant set of Hulk Hands to go with the hammer and shield

Supponendo che sia una torre e non un gigantesco set di Hulk Hands per andare con il martello e lo scudo

you are joking but the facts show that the worst option is the one closest to reality U_U

I hope the D2C is a modular. Avengers Tower is inevitable to me, but I want to see Oscorp more. They could have so many villian origin stories in it, and the spider bite. Plus the Bugle teased Curt Conners, so his lab would be nice.

I'm going to throw into the ring the 'Buildable Iron Man' option or 'Iron Man Bust' option also.

Given that Star Wars is seemingly getting a massive buildable Chewbacca, it seems viable that Marvel could get a massive buildable Iron Man. We also have the option that they thought the Black Panther Bust would sell well and wanted to do a bust for Iron Man at the same scale in response to Endgame.

Stark Tower is the most realistic option. It varies itself from the Daily Bugle as it'd likely be primarily tan as opposed to just windows like the AoU tower would be. In addition it opens itself up to a wide figure selection from Avengers Assemble and Avengers Endgame as you mentioned, while also enabling them to re-use other figures that have been released fairly recently to pad out the figure count. You also have the idea that with the Black Panther bust taking from 2018 to 2022 to release that an Avengers Endgame inspired Stark Tower could take from 2019 to 2023 to release.

AoU's tower simply has too many caveats that would be expected or required. I've already touched upon the design being too many windows like the Daily Bugle, but it also is featured in a limited way in the film - its most iconic scenes being internal such as the Party, Arrival of Ultron MK1 or Birth of Vision. I think if it is the AoU tower the biggest give away would be if the CMF series includes Infinity Ultron - as they'd likely want a cheaper 'Ultron' available so people would'nt be as mad if a new AoU Ultron was included in the $525 set.

Avengers Campus could be an excuse for a flood of Endgame figures, but I don't think the design would sell the set.

It has to be stark tower or an iron man bust lol, oh how I crack myself up!

Happy for everybody who can afford $600 on lego. I'll be patiently waiting for cheaper leaks 🥲

The secret is to stop of all your memberships e.g gym, Netflix. Stack up on canned food, and you should be able to afford something lol.
