I have a feeling the $500 set will be Captain America's shield.

The gimmick will be that it's wearable with rubber straps meaning it will have to be a huge but simplistic set. It'll also come with a display stand that also has to be relatively huge as well, and one exclusive minifig :imperialguard_commander1:

It's not the shield, the shield is $200, also a completely different set number

Though this had made me think that if Mjolnir could include an exclusive (at the time) Thor 1 figure, maybe the shield could do the same. Either WW2 Cap, or the stealth suit

One is the discus and the other is the 1940s shield from the first avenger, the guitar pick shaped one.

Oh oops... hmm what else could be $500.00+ and probably be disappointing?

I'm not convinced it'll be Avengers Tower like everyone is hoping for... $500.00 is Rivendell sized, and I doubt they'll have Avengers Tower be significantly taller than the Daily Bugle.

After what happened with Quantumania, imagine if in 2025 for the F4 movie we get a buildable Thing figure with none of the other characters…

At least Invisible Woman is easy to purist.

This is not a pattern, this is you retroactively trying to create one.

Granted, the spider-man D2C reusing minifigures of the small sets wave (or the other way around, it makes no difference), but the Sanctum is a totally different thing.

Still a decent suggestion though. He's right about what the bugle designer said. So in that regard the Jan sets and the figures in them could be a clue.

Ok, sure, the Quinjet figures could very well be in the D2C. But that doesn't automatically mean we're getting the tower. It could be a Helicarrier based on Avengers 1. It could be a UCS Quinjet. Plenty of options that could include those figures as well as the core characters from the first Avengers film.

Absolutely. No guarantee of anything but fun to speculate.

That would be a new low for lego. Atleast with Ant-Man we've gotten him a bunch of other times in much better sets, but for that to happen to the Fantastic 4's debut? There would be a riot on here

jan 2022- multiverse of madness set with dr strange being reused in the sanctum

august 2022- sanctum comes out, reusing dr strange, and the gargantos eye piece

Don't forget the Iron Man helmet piece also introduced in the Iron Man Armory

Non passerò un solo secondo a pensare a quel D2C finché non avremo informazioni concrete. Nessun interesse per un'altra situazione del "veicolo Pantera Nera":ride_duro:

I agree.  Last year still hurts :-/ this goes for the Batcave too… as for the Fantastic 4 I expect great sets!  And I'm curious to see the Thing :-D I still want to hope that AntMan is an isolated case…

i wouldnet really count that since the suit in the sanctum is a remake and theyd have to use the new helmet regardless of wether or not they wanted to because consistency. but yeah that too!

I always lose mine whenever I purist one, though....

I agree that it's not a good idea to get hopes up for anything until we have more concrete information. We've been burned before, badly.

What about that DC/marvel crossover set with Sue Storm driving Wonder Woman's plane.

I have mine displayed in a place of honour.

Does anyone know whats going on with the lego superheros magazine? The website says they alternate between marvel and dc but not sure how the new spiderman one fits into it?

There was a rescue figure leaked months ago but I haven't seen it in shops yet. Presumably that figure will appear in the new avengers tower anyway.....?

No, that's from the Hulkbuster 76164. The magazine it also came with is issue 15 from 2022 (at least in Germany by the looks of it).

So it goes DC, Marvel, Spider-Man I believe but after the next DC mag that is being taken out of the rotation and moved to the Special Edition Issue rotation with Ninjago Legacy so it'll alternate with Ninjago and Superheroes will alternate between Marvel and Spider-Man mags.

According to https://www.newsstand.co.uk/928-lego-magazines/29493-subscribe-to-lego-superhero-legends-magazine-subscription.aspx Issue 15 is the next one out in UK so maybe Rescue is next. I thought it was Black Panther though like it says here - http://bricksfanz.com/lego-magazines-february-round-up-6/

Thanks,  hadn't seen that article. I think it is black panther next in 15, so maybe rescue will be in 16.

Yeah this article said December https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.brickfanatics.com/pepper-potts-lego-rescue-armour-is-flying-back-to-stores/amp

But we didn't get it in the UK. I'd assume the mags are the same but maybe that's wrong.

Shang Chi 2 and Eternals 2 are a go.

I have to say I kinda regret buying some of the Eternals sets (even on sale). For Shang Chi I only bought Battle of the Ancient Village and the Water Guardian polybag, both sets were excellent imo.

Honestly, the dragon looks amazing, but I'm still mad we didnt get a proper Tony Leung minifigure. He's one of my favourite actors, so it would've come handy for a lot of mocs.

Yea Shang Chi himself was good as a minifig even without arm or leg printing, but the rest I dumped into my parts bin never to be seen of again.

I want to mod the dragon a bit further mainly plug up the open technic holes with some blue effect pieces.

The Domo is one of the coolest ships. I love that build.

Yea if you don't like the Eternals I guess I get it, but the Domo is an amazing build. I'd go so far as to say it's the best build in the theme over the last few years regarding building technique. Like the Sanctum and a few other sets have some good pieces and figs and easter eggs, but I don't think I had as much fun building anything as much as the Domo.
