Yep, same face for both but still leg prints on some random one off characters!!!

Different lines get different budgets, plain and simple. LEGO Star Wars has almost universally had leg prints for quite some years now. It's almost rarer to find a Star Wars minifig without one.

Then again, Star Wars has been a top selling theme for actual decades at this point.

I watched Ant Man 3 last night.

A modular of Hank Pyms house would be a good set. While it's not particularly iconic its a would fit the modular look, it's been in all 3 films and it could be stuffed full of good minifigures and easter eggs. It would also appeal to modular fans who have no interest in Marvel, like the sanctum did.

I appreciate this isn't going to happen.

About the Brachiosaurus' static legs; only the front legs are static, the rear legs ( Ok the hip section) are moveable. You can tilt back the Brachio's body so it can stand on her two rear legs.

No :-/

I think @Legocentrico is right, and the whole body is one single part, akin to the elephant or mammoth parts.

As the guys over at Stonewars point out, this was likely done so they could avoid having to flatten the flanks. If you look at the T-Rex for instance, the sides are completely flat to allow the legs to rotate. This likely wouldn’t have worked for the Brachio

Sorry, just noticed, I wrote it in the wrong thread.

One of the new Jurassic Park sets has 512 pieces for $80, with a molded Brachio, and it manages to be a better deal than The The Marvels set , which has 420 pieces for $90. Odd!

Watch the Marvels set just be a ton of molded dinos for some reason.

But you bring up a good point. even by lego's own standards, even by lego's own standards THIS YEAR, the marvels set is absolutely absurdly priced.

Edit; I also love that the thread momentarily devolved into a discussion about the brachio's parts.

All I want is a Kang-related set. It can be a Kang mech or Kang buildable figure don't really care. I just want Kang, and I want him now

Really really hope we get daredevil in the CMF series. Even if that particular suit is pretty ugly (imo). Daredevil is my favorite marvel content that’s ever been produced. Crazy to think that next year there’s gonna be a D+ series consisting of a whopping 18 episodes with him in it

and with bernthal’s punisher!! Makes me wonder if lego will ever produce the mcu version of him. I suppose they could if they pg-13 him

If the series covered the D+ shows it would be a big mistake not to include Devil, he would be a great minifigure!  of course I would like a new printed helmet, the black panther ears are fine for the comics version

Kang buildable figure

You can't be that down bad over a lack of Kang you'd rather a buildable over a minifigure right?

Anybody else see the What If...? Funko pops?

I know Season 2 won't release till October or later, but I'm unsure what these Funko releases means for Lego potential, especially with the CMF in a few months.

I still believe we’ll get some from S2 in the CMF. Lest we forget getting gamora in the last one when her episode hasn’t even debuted yet. So for this season Marvel might’ve planned an earlier release but then moved it back.

Same! If he was included, I think the chance of him having a helmet would be pretty good since the cmf series get a higher budget.

fingers crossed 🤞

I know, but I'm scared because lego is lazy, they see Devil and think "oh well, we already made one and it had black panther ears, so we'll do the same thing for the new one too" :-P

I'm seeing them and I'm shaking :-/

we wait for Ultron with the gems and we receive a girl dressed as an Indian.  would be the classic “expectations vs reality” situation

Or Hela dressed up in a boring looking outfit that looks like something out of Shang Chi

of course, the most loved characters and the right ones on which to base the marketing campaign!

Anyway I didn't understand one thing, is it legal to spend all this time without rumors and marvel leaks???

At this point the CMF might be buildable figures

What If came after the CMF last time too. I'd still bet dollars to doughnuts it'll have What If characters, if not more of them than last time.

That’s because it is Shang-Chi related. The episode she is featured in will see Odin Vs Wenwu in a conflict between Asgard and the Ten Rings.

I can't speak for everyone else, but this does intrigue me, and I hope to see her in Lego form!

The concept alone appeals to me more than most of the ideas that were used in Season 1.

I hope the second season is an improvement as the first is my least favourite project so far.

This is exactly the kind of thing I want to see from What If...?, both story-wise and LEGO-wise. I did like the What If minifigures in Series 1 even if I thought there were too many of them, but they were basically just existing characters wearing the costume of another character. Kahhori is completely new and if we get What If figures in Series 2, I'd love to see a wholly original character like her get a slot!
