Watch them pull a NWH and neither include MODOK nor Kang :laugh_hard:

we will be lucky if the Ant-Man figure even resembles his suit seen in the movie

MODOK is in the back left of this shot, his height is about the same as a regular minifig but he's floating via butt propulsion :p

My expectation would be something like this with a piece to cover the face for a 'masked' version and featuring two larger brick-built grabber arms and a clear stand so he can be 'hovering'. Notably the version here includes 125 pieces, with the modifications I could see it going up to around 170 pieces.

The Gargantos set included 264 pieces and 3 figures so perhaps a small side build OR an additional figure (Cassie) could be included. Though notably if MODOK gets a printed masked and maskless face then that could be used as justification for the set having a low piece count, especially as they'd expect the set to sell anyway due to Kang and being presumably the only Ant-Man 3 set - each of them presumably having unique torso, masks, etc...

March was the last info we had :shrug_oh_well:

This is the first time I can recall a lego set based on an MCU film is coming out after the movie does (if March still holds true)

My greatest fear is that they try to capitalize on their hope that the Avatar sets sell well, so it'd be that weird flying creature from the trailer with Hank, Janet, Ant-Man and a Soldier/Guard.

Really impressed with the trailer.  I am actually looking forward to seeing this movie and thats something I never thought I'd say about Ant-Man.  I think Kang is going to make an awesome villain for the next few years for Marvel and I can't wait to get him in minifgure form.

I'd kinda expect MODOK with him being in the D23 trailer and this new trailer, but I don't really think we'll see a lot extra build-wise. Pretty much just expecting Scott, Hope, Kang, and MODOK, especially with Cassie being absent from some other waves of products for the movie, as sad as that is.

MODOK and Kang's time chair I think could fit easily into a $30 set.

I would be more than happy with this as the set, but I gotta say, I'm surprised nobody, except MandoKnight, has speculated a new Giant Man build.

I'm also surprised LEGO still haven't incorporated Ant Man into the mechs sets yet. Imagine a tiny little mech that could fit a microfigure inside

I agree, Antman would be perfect for a mech set.

I would love MODOK, but this is an awesome idea too

I think we are gonna get Scott, Cassie, Hope, Kang and Modok. The first 4 are all used predominantly in all the marketing so I imagine they would have been in most of the concept art Lego receives to make sets. Modok doesn’t seem much bigger than everyone else so maybe they’ll use a similar head as the 2014 minifigure with a smaller brick built body.

It's possible, though a little unlikely, that we get the first 4 minifigs, but NO WAY does modok show up as a mini fig. We arent getting 5 minifigs in a $30 set. He'll be brick built for sure.

No what I meant was I think he will be brick built if we get him just not as big as the last version and will have a head similar in size to the minifigure Modok

Whoopsies, I only did a quick skim through the last page before making that comment, I'll update it

I’m desperately thirsty to see the Quantumania set. Hopefully it at least happens this month.

I’m obsessively refreshing legoleaks hoping that images will magically pop up

Same. Quantamania is looking like a legitimately good story about time and missing your family, and I certainly wouldn't mind a set with that core ant-family and Kang, who's seeming like an awesome villain. I love this change from the comics where his primary attack has gone from futuristic technology to just "beats the s**t out of you". All that calculation and scheming is so much more threatening when you see the violence he's capable of without all his fancy toys. Like if someone put Rocky in an iron man suit.

My bad, I totally misread that.

I agree that he probably should be smaller, but I doubt he will. Lego loves oversized stuff.

Good, failing to read every single comment is a horrific sin. As you can see above, I NEVER misread stuff.

As you have surely seen, it seems that promobricks is starting to talk about summer releases.  If HP's was a list, we could receive the marvel one in a couple of weeks

I'm sure if lists are getting revealed already then it'll be a matter of days rather than weeks even.:sweet:

I remember that last year they had released one theme a week… but maybe I remember wrong

As @Legocentrico points out, they like to spread things out :classic: I would do the same if I were Promobricks. Generates a more steady number of views

Ant-Man not till May.

And a Doctor Strange portal polybag.

I'm not sure how accurate they are though because they have 71038 listed as the Marvel CMF series instead of 71039.

So as of now the Quantumania set is a May release, and the piece count is 289 pieces. I think we are getting only one build in this set and 3 figures. My money is on Modok being the build and the three figs being Ant-Man, Kang, and Hope

I really like the sound of that portal polybag! Could be pretty versatile given how commonly these portals are used throughout the MCU, and those trans-orange tiles are pretty rare to boot. Also, a Strange minifig in a polybag sounds like a great deal!

Doctor Strange portal polybag sounds like a great idea. I wonder which Strange it will be, and hopefully it’s easier to find than the NWH one.

It'll probably be the MoM one
