Hoth Rebel Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Tbh, some sets on the confidential pictures looked more done than others (Deku Tree, Disney sets and Batman vs Barad Dur and X mansion) so I would expect the better looking ones further in the progress of getting released.

Batmobile poly bags in the last 10 years range from 45-70 pieces so this may fit :(

Since Michael Keaton is back for The Flash this summer, Lego is taking it as a chance to make sets for his duology, just like they did with No Way Home having sets inspired by Homecoming and FFH. I think the polybag genuinely is related to Batman returns (micro-batmobile maybe? Maybe that weird duck car thingy?)

Sure, it invokes the “1989” moniker that was used for the other Burtman sets, but in that case, the movie was just called “Batman”, so of course they had to differentiate it somehow I’m excited either way! This bodes well for the actual wave too

Lionbear8 Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 My 2 cents! It's the Batmobile. Hotwheels is also releasing the 89 Batmobile and other toy companies for the Flash movie. I feel like this all has to do with the Flash movie driving Batman 89/ 92 merchandise for the Batmobile back on the shelf. My 2 cents!

Speculating is fun, but the information we have is very bare-bones. I want some juicy details to chew on, like what specific property the sets are based on at least! Nylock Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Fingers crossed that we get “The Bat” from the Dark Knight Rises. I really want a remake of that set, and since the tumbler play set seemed to have sold well, I think there’s a good chance we could get more DK trilogy sets.

Moreso than specific Batman properties, I just hope the quality of this wave heralds a return to form for DC. It would be fantastic to see a new cowl mould now that the 2012 and 2015 versions have been done to death. It’ll never happen, but I’d love to see the 2022 Batmobile redone in Speed Champions sometime in the future. The one from last year was pretty great, but too oversized. I’d be down for that, the black/white suit two-face has always been one of the best dc figs ever. I’d love to see that get refreshed

I hope it includes a balloon build and Joker's long gun

I would love him in the outfit with the Purple tie, from when he shoots Bruce. Not to mention his hair.
