wesker Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Definitely see this one getting heavily discounted like the Black Panther bust and Hulkbuster did.
hikouki Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Looks quite detailed and accurate. Wish there were more minifigs, and that the 'front' had interiors as well.
doclord Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 While the price is bad, I like the set a lot and I'm interested in seeing the other figures. It definitely could've just been the cave wall and the car however.
astroboy75 Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 @Lego126 where are the 3 light bricks and the Batwing platform that you saw ? Not sure about what to think about it :-( It seems wow when it’s closed but the front is made of so much pieces that could have been used elsewhere. And Pinguin, Catwoman and Max Shrek do not seem to be included, right?
glucklegobatman Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 It looks like the catwoman minifig can be seen on the screen of the batcomputer. It uses the black panther ears and a printed face.
Nylock Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 (edited) No shot. This doesn’t look like a 500 set at all. How the heck did they drop the ball on this?!? Why is this set just 2 walls with everything stuck to them?? Why on earth did they choose to make catwoman with the black panther ears?!? baffling choices. Simply because of the bat symbol opening they completely sacrificed having an actually good interior. I’d pay at most $200 for this set and not a penny more. The Batmobile is the only highlight. 1 hour ago, wesker said: Definitely see this one getting heavily discounted like the Black Panther bust and Hulkbuster did. +1 2 hours ago, LemonFlavouredBleach said: Confused why this set includes a batmobile when they got a batmobile set based on the same universe literally coming out in August Because imagine this exact set that’s already really bland, without the Batmobile for 500 and then asking someone to spend more just to put it in the set. LemonFlavouredBleach Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Promobricks users try to not make a decision/get mad over potato quality images challenge (IMPOSSIBLE) seriously, wait for higher res, out of box images. You can’t seriously make a judgement on pictures of that quality

You can’t seriously make a judgement on pictures of that quality This is hardly potato quality. Higher quality images will reveal closer details on the wall and close ups of the minifigures but with these images we already have a proper look at the build. Do you really think what you see justifies the price tag?

This Batmobile is in an 18+ set, looks compact and well detailed (it’s smaller than the GWP Batmobile from 2019), possibly fragile by playset standards. Kid’s vehicles tend to be a bit oversized if they’re minifig scale and more sturdy but less accurate. I’m curious about the lack of a Batwing though, or even space to store a Batwing. Were the rumors just wrong? Edited May 15, 2023 by Flawless Cowboy

Because your plausible deniability gets much harder the more fake details you share Yeah this set kind of sucks but that's just my personal opinion. Another super ill-conceived gimmick that makes no sense for the product.
Seasider Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Looks like there are 5 “functions” in a similar vein to the Indian Jones set. But I can’t work out what each does. Looks like the second rotates his chair in front of the bat computer. I’m very divided on this. I like the idea but not the execution. I need the batmobile as I’ve been after a minifig Keaton era one (hoping the batmobile set still launches). Also for something like this I’d expect more minifigures !
RedHoodPug Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Lego Batman: I only work in black, and sometimes very, very dark grey. Lego set designers: Hold that thought. So they’ve taken the concept of the Hogwarts book sets and massively expanded it but decided against dipping into the colour palette. I’m still not really convinced. Hopefully better photos will shed more light, because the set sure as hell won’t.
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 So much for the set being cancelled last minute Am I the only one here who likes this thing? Yeah, it’s expensive, but I do appreciate the way it looks (especially opened up) and there seem to be quite a few functions. Hope the reveal is around the corner!

From left to right it looks like: changes what's on the computer (between Penguin and Catwoman at least), swivels chair, opens and closes a vertical roller shutter revealing a Batsuit, opens and closes horizontal doors revealing the arsenal, opens and closes a vertical garage door shutter behind the Batmobile.
Whovastron Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Huge swing and a miss. I really wanted a good ucs Batcave. This ain’t it though. There’s such a lack of detail and space for things. Seems so pointless for the price
Goofster Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 uhmm, to me, it just looks like a messy wall with a car.

PGBQW Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Actually, if they removed the whole front wall + batmobile + batmobile platform + made the back wall thinner, this would make for a solid 150-200€ display piece. 4 minutes ago, Agent Kallus said: anyway the back wall plus the middle but look nice by basically half the set is pointless, making just that back half for half the price would have been a much easier pill to swallow. BatDeanj Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 I think its a shame that this is likely to flop and we will never see a D2C Arkham or comic Batcave. Very strange decisions by LEGO honestly think ill stick with my 2006 batcave. The walls take up so much of the piece count and not really anything that jumps out with it all being grey.

DaredevilFan Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 I wonder if the Batmobile set is still happening. Maybe it’s just been repurposed into this set. Seems weird there’s no Batwing platform unless it fits into the right side where the symbol is. I quite like the set, but it would have been better if it was just the left side - bringing down the piece count and price.
