Really hoping they eventually do more with this theme this year or next.

I wouldn’t count on it. This year, we got movies for Shazam, Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman. And still all we could get is four Batman sets based on the old Burton films. Lego couldn’t even throw them in a comic based Batman set. At this point, I think our only safe bet is The Batman II sets in 2025.

It's a fairly common opinion that current DC products are doomed to flop (only the Flash stands a chance, thanks to Batman) and I don't expect Lego to get back on the license before Gunn's reboot. Whether this will happen at the same time as the raise, or later waiting for the public's reaction, I don't know. But I wouldn't expect anything right now

@Legocentrico: D'accordo. Il riavvio di Gunn dovrebbe finalmente riportare correttamente il tema DC. La domanda è più cosa faranno l'anno prossimo:ride:

€500 Arkham we are all waiting for! but it will be the version of batman begins with 3 minifigures :-D

or more likely that survey mosaic, a 4+, and a random batmobile

@Legocentrico: Agreed. Gunn‘s reboot should finally bring back the DC theme properly. The question is more what they‘ll be doing next year

The last time Lego DC had a "gap year"was in 2015 when Batman v Superman got pushed back, and we got the awesome comic-based Justice League wave to fill the gap.

I don't know if I trust Lego to give us something so good again, but the leaked survey had a Batman:TAS set, so clearly it's a subject they've considered revisiting. After missing the old TAS-inspired Batman sets 15 years ago in my dark ages, I've love to get an updated take on them next year.

I actually have found the leaked plans for the 2024 DC wave. They are as follows:

4+ Batmobile: Joker chase ($34.99): A small juniors batmobile and joker helicopter. Comes with Juniors batman, a re-used joker, and batgirl (DBG suit reuse)

Construction figures:

Batman (DBG suit): $34.99

Joker (purple suit): $34.99

Harley Quinn (Red/Blue suit): $34.99

D2C: Bat Ski-boat ($239.99): Re-used Keaton Batman, a new Max Shreck with exclusive face and torso, and an unmasked/battle damaged catwoman figure with exclusive torso and face prints.

You jest now, but next year you’re gonna look back and think how great this list sounds.

Batmobile pics!! It looks really good, very similar to D2C batcave one. Looks to have the same flick up guns as well. Joker looks great. Batman looks to have a new gadget as well 😊

About time we got that hairpiece in green.

Shame we couldn’t also get that new fedora price in purple and green, but I take this as an absolute win.

Joker's face looks ghoulish!

Couldnt they reuse Nicholson's face? Other than that, I really like this set! Very cool new torso for both of them!

Why did they have to make the Batmobile in the small set different than the Batmobile in the big set? Why, why, why? My completionist side is freaking out right now :(

Ummm…for this exact reason?

Why would Lego want people to buy more sets?

On a more serious note, can anyone highlight the key differences between both cars for me please?

Perché Lego vorrebbe che la gente comprasse più set?

Su una nota più seria, qualcuno può evidenziare le differenze chiave tra le due auto per me, per favore?

the area under the cockpit, on both sides, that tube sticking out, I don't know how to describe it :-D

Perché hanno dovuto rendere la Batmobile nel piccolo set diversa dalla Batmobile nel grande set? Perché, perché, perché? Il mio lato completista sta impazzendo in questo momento :(

if you are a completionist you have to buy both anyway :-D

Sigh. Yes. I'm certainly not going to get the bigger set. It just bugs me that the ever so slightly better version of the Batmobile is paywalled behind it.

The wheel hubs are different - easy fix.

The side intakes are different - a little harder, but still probably an easy fix.

The bat fins are built studs up instead of being tilted for a more accurate angle - this could potentially be hard to retrofit to the car in the small set, but then again it could be easy.

At least the one in the small set still has the flip up guns, according to Promobricks.

Omg you're right! And the wings have a different angle in both versions.

I like the engine thingy better in the small one, but the wings look better in the expensive version.

Oddio hai ragione! E le ali hanno un angolo diverso in entrambe le versioni.

Mi piace di più la cosa del motore in quella piccola, ma le ali sembrano migliori nella versione costosa.

are the wings different? ah ok ok the corner, I noticed it now
