I would think the caverns can be removed, so hopefully the "middle" is modular.

So what sort of time are these things revealed? When people keep saying tomorrow is that USA time? Just wondering if we're talking today is Aus? :-)

wow it's so much better than i could have imagined :-O lately i've decided to scale back my HP purchases, but this one is going home with me!

Looks pretty Epic, but as a set I was hoping to place with Diagon Ally, I don't know. You either waste a ton of pieces, or its a stand alone. Will definitely have to wait for the official reveal, but it may be a pass. I dont want to spend $100 on parts I can't or don't want to display?

Seems that one of the stores is the Magical Menagerie according to a leaked description. I hope we get a new Crookshanks!

reveals typically are around 9 am est so i believe that would be 11 pm for u !

I have $300 worth of VIP points saved up for this.  Can't wait for the full reveal.

It looks spectacular and I love that there are some shops included as well. Can't wait to get a closer look tomorrow.

I think This looks incredible I’m actually shocked haha, I will reserve my full judgement when the hi res photos get release.
I’m assuming you can detach the top to add to Diagon alley. I’m intrigued what the other two side buildings are. If it’s magical menagerie that’s awesome. As much as I preferred to have a cheaper just Gringotts only build, I would assume to sell the two parts separately - the carts/vaults probably wouldn’t sell that well on their own and would only appeal to the hard core fans? Thoughts on this?
Anyway I’m so excited for this now.

also keen to see the rumoured vault GWP. I wonder if you would be able to add it in to this one?

It’s a cool design but I would prefer it was split into two sets similar to Jaba’s palace and the rancor pit.

Grainy leak pictures normally don't do a set any justice at all, but the outline alone of this looks fabulous. How on earth they've managed to get the middle seemingly so thin is incredible, and it really adds to the drama of it. A year or two ago there was a great MOC of Gringotts posted on Reddit that was similar to this, and at the time I thought it was a brilliant concept, but LEGO wouldn't be able to do it in an official set. I'm thrilled to be proven wrong, and they've made it even more elegant than the MOC, from the looks of it.

I'm really looking forward to the full reveal.

Finally done with my Lego rendition of Gringotts Bank : lego (reddit.com)

I recognize that I may be the oddball here but I wish the Ukrainian Iron Belly was it's own set because I honestly just want that. I may just have to bricklink the dragon at some point, hopefully for a somewhat reasonable price.

This looks fantastic, in spite of the potato quality of the image  There must a really sturdy Technic skeleton in there, hope this is more stable than it looks!

Also, I have no idea if it fits on my shelf, given how tall it is. I might have to display the bank and underground section next to each other

Edit: Since Hagrid is included, it’s safe to assume that PS Harry is also there. That leaves one repeat

2 Harry Potter designers have teased gringotts reveal tomorrow

Who, would be interesting to know who designed it? :classic:

My current display setup is a bookcase like arrangement so I’ve got my fingers crossed that the underground section is short enough to slide in the lower shelf right underneath where the building will sit. (I’ll just have to move my 2002 Chamber of Secrets somewhere new.) That will let me connect it to the big Diagon Alley set while also keeping the vaults underneath.

I agree, probably best to have the top with DA and then a glass shelf and the bottom part right under that. Remains to be seen if i have the place to do it in one of my shelf's

Eeylops owl emporium and/or Magical Menagerie would be fantastic:excited:

Will be interesting to see how the GWP fit in :sweet:

I will wait until the proper reveal later today, but it looks really promising!
Modular building meets stranger things is what it looks like:laugh:
I love that there are 2 extra buildings to add to the street:wub: Which shops are the closest to the bank in the books and films?

It looks like there is at least one owl in the set as well

Although the pic is rough, unfortunately it is not hard to see that the scale doesn't match the 2020 DA. It is the new WWW scale so seems underwhelming.

Looks like Harry's and the Lestrange vault is included? Was not the GWP supposed to be the Lestrange vault?

What stands out to make you say that?

Not putting Lestrange vault in a Deathly Hallows based Gringotts would mean an incomplete set on his own.

I suppose the GWP vault would more likely be one from the Philosopher's Stone book/movie.

Woooowww I think this might be my favorite Harry Potter set ever, it’s so visually striking and grand.

The Bellatrix minifigure can be seen beside the entrance of the bank. Just comparing the height of each floor and the minifigure, you can see the scale is smaller than 2020 DA.

I sincerely hope I am wrong, though.

What is sad when we get a set like this is that they do not make the old original Pirate coins anymore, this set would look even better it it had a hoard of them there, printed coins are not so cool and pearl gold parts are plain bad:

It looks like a goblin in the door and he is only half the height of the door so i assume this is in scale with DA until we know otherwise :sceptic:

Definitely European tomorrow (so today) since they are based in Denmark

I think does it match the scale, Gringotts is not supposed to be mega giant compared to Diagon Alley buildings, just 1,5 times bigger I would say. All those MOCs we have seen are oversized in my opinion. Honestly I hope they confirm it or directly show it today during the reveal so we won't have to have this debate anymore :DDD

Promobricks say they see the following figs:
"Some minifigures can already be seen. A total of 13 pieces are included. At first glance we recognize Harry and Hagrid from the first part, as well as Harry, Hermione in Bellatrix disguise and Ron from the seventh part. There are also a handful of goblins: Bogrod, Griphook, Rickert, 2 goblins and 2 guards. A Death Eater is also included."

Maybe a bad translation, because I do not know how they mange to see that

*oh2* I hope that‘s true!!

Sounds like a fantastic minifig selection :excited:

The banks seems to be 8 or so Bellatrix’s high (error allowed for the potato quality and tiny size of my phone screen), given that Ollivander’s is roughly 5 Bella’s high (I literally just checked) that fits nicely with Gringott’s being about 150% higher than the regular Alley shops.
I think you’re making an erroneous assumption that the building to the right of the bank is supposed to be the same height as a regular shop but clearly isn’t. The one on the left clearly is (4 or 5 Bella’s tall) and also seems to have the colorful front display window of a regular shop (fingers crossed for Magical Menagerie).

The structure to the right seems to be a single story and mostly stone. I’m not entirely certain if it’s a shop or not.
