10+ year old account suddenly decides to do a little trolling? XD This all sounds so weird to me, especially the Harry Potter info, it doesn't align at all with the news we've gotten so far, and somehow doesn't include any of the sets we actually know about. Maybe so that these "leaks" won't get disproven too quickly? And you're somehow allowed to talk about it by the surveys "moderators"? You're allowed to basically reveal an entire new theme? (Zelda as mentioned in the other topics). Leaks like that got an entire Star Fox and Zelda series on netflix cancelled by Nintendo. Nah, this can't possibly be true. Wouldn't even be too happy with the Harry Potter news if it somehow was.

The Hedwig Dots Pencil Holder appears to have leaked on instagram. It's kinda cute, but there's no exclusive printed pieces or anything, so easy skip.

I feel the same. Shame there’s no exclusive prints, but given the nature of the set I suspected this one wouldn’t have any. The other two sound more promising in that regard, and with any luck we’ll see them leak in the next 24 hours.

(For the handful of people coming here that are actually interested in the set - it also includes a Hogwarts letter photo holder in addition to the Hedwig pencil cup, so it makes for a cute little mini desk set)

Edit: as I wrote this, photos of the other two sets just dropped - much too blurry to see if there are any new prints though

I can see why they've been putting off revealing the HP Dots set. Oof not that good, I thought we'd be seeing a few HP themed tile prints.

There seem to be some themed tiles in the other two sets. Just not in the Hedwig set.

Hmm, definitely not as exciting as I'd hoped for. Also quite disappointed that the HP printed tiles are randomly distributed. Maybe they'll grow on me...

Actually, some of the photo frame and lockable box deigns are pretty cute. And Hedwig.

The professor prints look lile Funkos, how peculiar.

I see what looks like felix felicis, hedwig, winged key, castle silhouette, a snitch, quidditch goal posts, chocolate frog/card, and a very useful generic 1x1 letter print which is awesome. Minifigs can finally send each other little christmas cards.

The 1x1 square tile with the chocolate frog card may be similarly useful to replace the giant 2x2s. I may also see if the chocolate frog print looks good at a 45 degree angle on a purple 1x1 plate to simulate the boxes. Need a 3D purple trapezoidal tile like the dual molded gems to be perfect.

I was really really hoping for a Pygmy Puff print to tide me over since we haven't gotten one on a pink voodoo ball joint yet. The ice cream swirl piece isn't doing it for me anymore as a satisfactory substitute lol

I unfortunately just hit 100% theme completion this month so I'll be hoping for some amazon US sales to annihilate these and BL the good "decos"

The characters are based on the Chibi designs - I have a poster, stationary, a mug and socks with these designs. There are quite a few things with the Chibi design on.

When can we likely see leaks of the summer sets emerging?

LEGO has been really good at preventing leaks recently, so most likely when they decide to reveal it, which would probably mean sometime between mid April and early May.

We could see a minifigure or two leak, but I wouldn't expect full pictures. That is, unless LEGO decides to reveal the sets too late (mid May), which they sometimes do for reasons unknown, and the sets get leaked by retailers.

Either way, we might have to wait three more months.

Then the tiles and the chibi designs both still look like Funkos. It's not a super specific application of the chibi aesthetic and I think it is amusing official Lego pieces look this similar to the Pops.

I don't have any interest in collecting the real ones but the dots tiles make it possible for minifig sized collectible figures. I would love to hide a Lego-ified Dumbledore funko somewhere in his office.

So, for the record:

Hogwarts Accessory Pack- bracelet, sew on patch, 2 bag tags (rectangular and lightning bolt shaped):

Chibi faces:

- Harry - Ron - Hermione - Draco - Neville(?) - Ginny - Luna - Voldemort - Bellatrix

Other:

- Gold Hogwarts emblem - Patronus stag - some sort of flame - there seem to be others as well

Hogwarts Desk Kit- Photo Frame, Paperclip Tray, Lockable Trinket Box, Golden Snitch Phot Cube, Adhesive Patch:

Chibis:

- Dumbledore - McGonagall - Snape - Hagrid - Hedwig

Other:

- Hogwarts letter - Winged Key - Hogwarts silhouette - Golden Snitch - Chocolate Frog card - purple and gold Chocolate Frog emblem - time turner (different print than the minifig accessory) - Felix Felicis(?) - again there seem to be others that aren’t easily discernible

Overall, it doesn’t look like we’ll get a complete list of new prints until reviews drop. Lego didn’t seem nearly as considerate about properly showing off all the new exclusive prints as they did with the Mickey & Friends licensed DOTS, both these sets has at least one tile in the lifestyle shots that’s clearly something different but also can’t be properly identified because it’s so tiny. It should also be noted that most, if not all, of the printed tiles are on a white base, even if the background of the printed design is colored.

Personally, I’ll probably only end up grabbing the Accessory set, but that’s largely because I’ve been tempted by the DOTS sew-on patches for awhile and the combination of a Harry Potter theme and the last chance at getting DOTS is finally spurring me to give in. I can definitely see most AFOLs skipping these, but I think they’ll be popular enough amongst DOTS target audience (which likely has a decent overlap with the chibi designs, hence licensing them for this).

Meh, not my cup of tea. I was hoping for things like tiles with the house crests, just simple stuff one could use in the regular sets. The only one that really works for me is the Chocolat Frog and card. The characters look a lot like those Chibi Pencil Toppers, no doubt so they can use them together. Pencil toppers and holders.

I'm pretty sure there's Voldemort and Bellatrix as well.

Now that you mention it, two of the tiles I was scratching my head over in one of the lifestyle shots do seem to be Voldemort and Bellatrix. Good catch, I recognize that I’m not the best at discerning the tiles when they very small in the lifestyle shots (Luna is very lucky her specterspecs are so distinctive, or I would have missed her too). There are a couple other tiles in the same shot as Voldy and Bella I still can’t identify for the life of me though.

The Accessory Set says there are 16 random designs and you get 10 in the set.  The stag tile says Expecto Patronum & the flame looking one says Incendio so they are spells.  There was another pinkish one that's probably another spell.  The Hogwarts Crest one appears to be printed on a black tile.  The Desktop Set says 10 surprise tiles but no description on the Lego website yet.  The pictures look like they are different than what is in the Accessory Set just like the Disney ones were.  I wish they were doing a HP Extra Dots Pack so we could try for more of the random tiles at a less expensive price.

There appears to be the confundus charm, the deathly hallows symbol (as seen in the video on lego's site). There are still 2 tiles I can't pinpoint, one looks like a clock, so maybe clock tower clock.

For the desk kit there's also the sorting hat.

So we aren’t guaranteed all the designs in each set?!? Ugh. Still, 10/16 isn’t horrible odds.

so from what I can see:

Accessory Pack (10/16)

1. Harry 2. Ron 3. Hermione 4. Ginny 5. Cedric 6. Luna 7. Voldemort 8. Bellatrix 9. Patronus spell 10. Incendio spell 11. Gold Hogwarts emblem 12. Spell starting with ‘C’ (possibly confundus, it’s black lettering spiraling inward) 13. Possibly Wingardium Leviosa (looks like a feather on a pale pink background) 14. Some sort of white circle on a black background 15. Deathly Hallows symbol 16. Unknown

Desk Kit (10/? possibly 16 as well)

1. Dumbledore 2. McGonagall 3. Snape 4. Hagrid 5. Hedwig 6. Chocolate frog card 7. Chocolate frog emblem 8. Hogwarts letter 9. Winged key 10. Hogwarts silhouette 11. Golden snitch 12. Time turner 13. Felix Felicis 14. Quidditch goal hoops 15. Sorting Hat 16. Possibly Dobby (only seen this one in a low quality lifestyle pic so far so it’s hard to tell)

Other (2): Hogwarts crest, Deathly Hallows sign

One unknown.

Chibi (7): Snape, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hagrid, Dobby, Hedwig, Sorting Hat

Magical things (9): Time Turner, Felix Felicis, Chocolate Frog, a (blank) Chocolate Frog card, winged Key (from PS), Quidditch goals, Snitch, Acceptance Letter to Hogwarts, the Hogwarts castle

I'm surprised we don't have an official image of the Quidditch polybag coming out in March yet (I'm hoping for Ron from HBP).

Also, we could get summer set descriptions soon. I think we got them in February last year?

Not sure when we could find out about the 2 unlisted sets. Retailer exculsives and D2Cs are normally held secret longer, yet we have both D2Cs already (if Knight Bus is correct), so it's a bit hard to gauge this year. I'm hoping for a proper Quidditch set, the Weasley wedding or Lovegood house/Tale of 3 Brothers. I know many would like the Durmstrang ship, but as far as ships go, I would rather have the Black Pearl.

So,  I have a question....

I have been collecting all the sets for Hogwarts since 2018, including the promotions (grand staircase/gryffindor dorms). I am not really a fan of the books that much but I love all the castle pieces. Over the years, I have had to reassemble the layout to accommodate each new set. I am looking forward to the latest Room of Requirement, except I have no idea where to put it in my current layout. Any ideas on how to create the perfect layout for the entire castle??? (including earlier versions before it was modular)

@dukesofbrickdom, imho @Textorix has one of the better "ultimate Hogwarts" MOC layouts here, but they tend to get buried in the rumours threads. This is one I had bookmarked:

but I believe there were more up to date versions that included more of the modulars, so I'd suggest asking at the source. 😊

Why have they disappeared from Shop at Home?

Perhaps some sort of coding error? I only ever saw the Accessory Set on the US shop@home so I imagine there’s been a technical issue and all three will be back up with a day or two.

I haven't been keeping up with the new HP sets that have been confirmed so has there been any talk about a new Burrow set? Or a brick-built Sorting Hat? I just got a look at both through a survey of upcoming Lego sets and although I can't post pics, I can talk about them.

The Burrow set is 2388 pieces and will be released in a price range of $200-325, probably $250. It measures 20 inches/50 cm high. It looks a lot more detailed and better than the previous two Burrow sets imo although the design still seems preliminary. There are 9 minifigures depicted but they all have generic white bodies and faceless heads and there's no description as to which minifigures they are. The only thing that distinguishes the figures is that they have specific hairpieces. I don't see a Harry but there is a Hermione because she's got her trademark brown hairpiece. Every other minifigure has red hair so I'm guessing Hermione is the only non-Weasley included. I can tell that one of them is definitely Molly, one is Ron, and two are Fred and George. That leaves four other red-headed characters who I can't tell but I'm guessing they would probably include Arthur, Ginny, and Percy. There's nothing about the set that seems themed to Half-Blood Prince so I'm assuming it's based more on the Chamber of Secrets. The image I saw was only of the exterior so I have no idea what the interior looks like except that the description of the set mentions dishes that wash themselves.

The brick-built Sorting Hat I saw was priced to be $100 and it stands on a base. There was no description for this so I don't know if it has any specific features like if the eyes or mouth can move. However, it's quite impressive looking and would make for a good display especially along with the previous Hogwarts Icons set. I know that set wasn't very popular on here so I'm assuming people will feel likewise about this.

I really hope these aren't true, just because a brick built Sorting Hat is just another uninspiring object and The Burrow, whilst potentially an amazingly detailed set, is not really needed. It would continue a trend of everything just getting bigger, but not necessarily better. More detailed yes, but not better for space or budgets. If every HP building starts to get this treatment, then at some point DA would be considered not detailed enough and in need of an upgrade. I can only imagine the budget that would require.

This is, I presume, the point of the survey: do people want more buildable objects and more expensive building sets?

What you describe with The Burrow sounds like the prelim builds people see in the backrooms of the toy fairs, where builds and figs aren't necessarily final, so maybe they have the basic build, but it would only go in to production if they survey receives a positive reaction towards it. When you say the survey was for upcoming Lego sets, I'm guessing they weren't all necessarily for this year so if it is a serious consideration it could always be canned anyway.

Nevertheless, thank you for the info. I never take anything as true until at least a long established leaker or site confirms something and even then I realise things can be misconstrued or plans changed. But those sets certainly make for an interesting discussion point, regardless of whether they are actully true, on what people want to see generally going forward with the theme. So long as they don't become 'fact' on IG.
