I don't think the price per part for the 18+ necessarily means anything. LEGO is sporadic with PPP ratios in sets. For example, Marvel is supposedly getting a 350 piece X-Jet for $90 in the same wave where there is a 347 piece $35 Spiderman set (both right after a 420 piece, $90 system Marvels set). It could be pretty much anything at this point.

76425: $19.99 (337 pcs)

 76426: $37.99 (350 pcs)

76428: $74.99 (896 pcs)

76429: 18+ $99.99 (561 pcs)

76430: $44.99 (364 pcs)

 76432: $29.99 (172 pcs)

Low prices! Incredible! And they’re not all the same price so probably not all the same gimmick repeated 4 times. What a breath of fresh air after the last two years where every single non-gimmick set except one was $45 or more. I’d bet at least one of those is anothe foldout and another is an out of scale buildable creature/object but surely a couple of those are going to be standard minifig sets?

Based on those prices I’m going to assume it’s the winter/spring wave?

Yesterday, I saw the photo shared here of the builds in the upcoming HP advent calendar, and initially I was a bit ambivalent about it. But now I see that the Lego website shows what the interior display portion of the AC box will look like, and I think it is brilliant. For Lego to make a background image that combines an exterior view of Hogsmeade with the interiors of four shops, and builds for each of those shops, is marvelous!

I'm happy with the Advent Calendar this year.  Vast improvement over the last two.  So glad they got rid of the game board gimmick and microbuilds.  Yes the builds are sparse partswise but at least they are decent minifig scale builds.  I may need to get two just for the printed parts & the new color for Malfoy's hat.

Certainly not before 2025. Don‘t forget the survey leak, first we‘ll get a Burrow D2C!

Remember it was a leak from a survey not upcoming sets :sceptic:

A survey about upcoming sets  Granted, we don't know if any of these survived the early stages of development, but why would they put these sets into a pricing survey if they didn't plan to release most of them? I doubt they all make it, but the Burrow sure looks like one of the survivors

It was not about future sets, but pricing, 4 out of 5 sets in the survey was already released sets. From that we know it seems to me that they put in a few sketch models with the actual sets. Sure the burrow could be nice however we already got 2 great ones so it is necessary when we are missing several other buildings, the sorting hat seems like a bad idea to me.
No one wants the medieval village set more than me, however until we get new information that one or more of those sets are coming (not a YouTuber repeating the info from the survey) I will remain hopeful, but sceptical :shrug_oh_well:

It wouldn‘t make much sense to include sets here they‘re not actually considering to release  What purpose would that serve? Having a control group? Sure, some of them are pretty rough around the edges, but others look way too elaborate to just be mere sketches.

Hope we get a D2C list sooner than later to finally find out which of these sets made it :classic:

Apparently, most of the sets survey takers saw were already released, so I’d say the survey was all about getting a control group.

Lego apparently has a lot of these models on shelf, some never see the light of day, some after several years and some sooner, so I guess we must wait and hope for some solid news..

I think it’s a close call between this and the 2020 Yule Ball one, but yes, the designers have finally listened and gotten back on track with what we want in an advent calendar. Exclusive outfits that wouldn’t fit in a regular set, introducing new characters, multiple exclusive prints, minifigure scale builds that can recreate a small scene or enhance a preexisting set, and properly winter themed to boot.

Agreed, this is the best calendar since Yule Ball 👍

According to u/EcstaticAmbassador78 on Reddit, he made a screenshot from a possibly deleted instagram post from wbgamesza, with information that the rumored lego harry potter game is coming 8.25.23 this year. No idea if this is true, but I hope so!

I can't see it?

OK I just found it and the fault doesn't look very professional, and the picture is just the Harry minifig. Perhaps they really are teasing an announcement, but I agree that there's no way they'll drop a surprise release. Either way rumours are gathering steam which hopefully means it really is real!

The fact that people think a video game developer could just release a major project without any sort of announcements

It's not happening guys. Maybe next year, but there's no real evidence so far.

What like shadow dropping the long rumoured and hence highly anticipated Metroid Prime remake?

Just looked at the advent calendar again and realized that Rosmerta has grey legs when the original in the Hogsmeade set has black. That means that all the figs in the advent calendar are technically unique, although two (Harry and Rosmerta) don’t feature any new prints.

Sorry if someone already said this, but that little owl that comes with Hawkeye could be Ron's Pigwidgeon

It’s a lovely owl 😊, it can be either the original  Saw-whet owl (American) but also works for a European Tawny Owl , and it could be recoloured to several other small small owl species.

Now this makes sense. A reveal in three weeks, not the release.

Really exciting if true. I hope it's more level-focused than The Skywalker Saga tho. The levels were really poor in that one. Some took less than five minutes to complete.

Werewolf by night is a must have for me: the head, hair and torso are practically perfect to make movie accurate Firenze, I’ll just swap the legs for the CMF figure centaur
