Everyone got their money put aside for these sets lol?

I'm more worried about waiting for a discount aha :laugh_hard:

I notice as a rule that the smallest JW sets get discounted first and I feel like its better to wait for good deals on the two large sets I want

True, the new Trike does look very nice, as it's similar to my profilepic aswell, lol. But I have to say that the green one from 2019 is my personal favorite since it's color pattern looks very unique and pleasant.

I honestly can't wait for him to do the Brachio set so really looking forward to that.

I love that they've brought out these sets for the 30th anniversary. I'm still hoping for a brachio with movable legs down the line. But not holding my breath on that one. But they have repeated several dinos over the years and in some cases improved them. So perhaps for the 35th or 40th? Lol. Now we just need Gennaro and a stego and I'll be a happy and satisfied Jurassic camper. I also wouldn't mind a diloph with movable legs...

Which is your overall favourite Jurassic Park set thus far? The t-rex breakout is mine. Though I have replaced the brick built T-rex (which I haven't even built) with the moulded, original one, which is still my fave T-rex.

I'm really interested to see what they'll do for next year's wave. With no new media or obvious anniversaries to draw from, will they go for sort of a grab bag style of different sets? Or will they continue with exploring the original trilogy and finally give us some Lost World/JPIII sets?

I really hope Lego does an in-house tie-in again - it could give us animals like Dimetrodon, Allosaurus or Stegasaurus

We had a vast gap between 2015 and 2018 for Jurassic World theme - there were no new sets in that gap. So I don’t know how long we would have o wait for the Lost Worldd or JPIII annivesary.

Not sure what you mean by “in-house tie-in”. But I would love to see an in-house theme to get some more dinosaurs like you just mentioend these species. I love in-house themes like Hiden Side, City, Ninjago, Kid, and DreamZzz.

But I don’t think an in-house theme would last much longer than licensed themes like 1 - 2 years.

There are several missing extinct spieces we don’t have in Lego form yet, such as:

1.) Parasaurolphus,

2.) Mosasurus

3.) Dimetrodon

4.) Allosaurus

5.) Nasutoceratops

6.) TeenageTyrannosaurus rex

7) Spinosaurus

8.) Sinoceratops

9.) Dimoprodon (not sure if I spell it right?)

10.) Stegosaurus

11.) Baby Pteranodon

12) Baby Stegosaurus

What I meant was the animated Lego specials like the Legend of Isla Nublar. Those specials seemed like an excuse just to make sets loosely connected to JW which is fine with me!

Also did anyone get the 4+ T rex set? I’ve caved in and bought it just to get a Rex for around £30 but now I’m looking at pictures of it online with other dinosaurs and worrying about how bright a green it is

She's spring green, so take that as you will.

Yeah I’ve looked at more pics and feel pretty prepared! And tbf I don’t like most of the tan-coloured Rexys.

I quite like the natural-looking Rexy in the Visitor Centre but I’m hoping if I get a T-Rex for cheap I can save money and just get the brachiosaurus instead 😅

Just2good has a review up of the Brachiosaurus set. I can't wait for this one. The Brachiosaurus could have used more articulation but I reall like the the overall design. The Jeep looks grwat and the tree looks good for what it is. Definitely a day 1 purchase.

I agree, I'm fairly happy with the Brachi and the set overall, really glad they've finally made it! I'm okay to wait for a sale personally, as it'll probably go down 20% or so by the end of the year - and at $60ish it's a bargain.

Tiago Catarino just posted a video of an in-depth look on all the five sets - and I have to say they look much better outside of the box than inside lol

Also, that Parasaurolophus (+ a juvenile) design on one of the stickers from the Visitor Center set looks great, really hope we could maybe see it in a wave for next year maybe (TLW sets??).

For those in the USA looking for a deal, all the sets are on Kohls.com now, and they're running a promotion today where you get $5 in Kohl's cash for every $25 you spend. I was able to order the two biggest sets and the Kohl's cash is going to pay for the Triceratops set.

Oh wow, that's pretty sweet! I might have to look into that.

Tomorrow is the day! What are we all buying? For me, I'm getting the Brachiosaurus Discovery and the Dilophosaurus Ambush! Two sets that I have needed since the launch of Jurassic World in 2015

I`m just interested in the Dinos I don`t already have, so it`s just the Brachio.

But in no world I`m gonna pay the full price at Lego.com! Waiting for at least 30% off, just like for all the other JW Sets I bought in the past years.^^
