Eh, I‘m not buying it. It‘s certainly possible that they‘re releasing sets in less than four months based on a show that hasn‘t even been announced yet, but I doubt it. Maybe in the summer wave. These two could depict made-up scenarios :shrug_oh_well:

I agreed.  I do suspect that there would be a summer wave while we only get two potentially “make-up” sets in winter. I mean two sets in a single wave doesn’t tell me much about other media, such as movie or tv show.

Camp Cretaceous only got more Than two sets in 2021.

I don’t know the ins and outs of marketing, but Jurassic World Explorers is supposed to be on a MUCH smaller scale then CC or the Lego series. Think like 5 minute shorts.

This isn’t the next big thing for the franchise, it’s just meant to be some small filler, to keep momentum moving and try bring in a younger audience. I don’t think it’s meant to be some big canonical lore and expansion to the JP universe - that would go to the other series in development, due out 2024/2025. Pretty sure Explorers is just a small, education based mini series aimed at people who are around 5-10 years old.

Again, just speculation

Ah well i appreciate the clarity Bobdapeach, i used to watch him a lot and in all fairness i never ended up watching that video i was talking about, so thank you for letting me know that! And yeah, you're also probably right about that kid show correlating to these sets, if that is the case then hopefully these sets are still decent lol, still intrigued for more info!

Apparently a sequel to camp Cretaceous was announced at NY Toy Fair, called Chaos Theory, is coming to Netflix next year.

I was just about to mention this lol, this could be very cool, especially if the rumours about that Allosaurus are true, it'd be a perfect way to introduce it into the Lego sets!! But something cool to be excited about for sure!

Oh and also i have seen a couple Indoraptor merchandise releases with headgear (latest mattel figure and a mask). The post by Jurassic Outpost said 'Jurassic World Chaos Theory' (nice omage) was to be set after Fallen Kingdom, so i suppose there could be a cloned Indoraptor from the corpse in the lockwood manor, but i suppose only time will tell!

All this are good news I guess. I really hope this theme will become evergreen as it is one of my favorite and I am excited about getting new dinosaurs.

Gotta complete the holy trinity of mid-sized dinos someday

Thank you so much for the information, hopefully Lego will be able to do something with this.

Also, not really JW-related, but yall have seen what happened to just2good? Lol

Yeah I’m happy for her! Since I’m trans too also c’mon LEGO do some non canon species like say a plesiosaurus or Ichthyosaurus, Tropeognathus, and some Permian and Cenozoic  creatures like dimetrodon gorgonops Mammuthus primigenius smilodon megatherium etc and remake an ankylosaurus!

IDK, given that we have a new netflix show in the works, I wouldn't be too surprised if LEGO chose to

Spoiler

reuse the baryonyx mold for a suchomimus since its closer in size to the latter anyway

It looks fine I guess, I probably won't even watch it either way. The only thing that I care for is that they made a full on minifigure design for Gennaro, so maybe (and that is a BIG maybe) that could mean that he could apper in a future set. But they had the perfect opportunity to put him in either the Brachiosaurus discovery or T-rex Breakout (the 18+ one), but they didn't.

Isee that you ask for smiodon, we have one from city’s 2018 Arctic subtheme along with woolly mammoth.

Why they shouldremake Ankylosaurus after 3 years?

Most likely cuz it was one of the dinos mentioned at NYTF 2023 when that new Chaos Theory series was revealed. If it does make a return along side the Atrociraptor mold for any sets based on the show, I'm pretty sure it would be a welcome addition

Ah really? At first, I was skeptical they would re-make an ankylosaurus mold after the original one was released in 2020 - it felt too soon for Lego to do that. But we shall see about it!

This doesn’t relate to Jurassic Park/World at all but Promobricks just leaked some details on. The next Modular Buidling, Natural History Museum. It says the museum set will have Brachiosaurus fossil.   How cool!

Wouldn't that be quite big for a Modular Building?

It says HNatural History Museum will have 4,012 pieces, making it bigger ever in the line-up. I would assume that the museum will sit on one 32x32 and one 1x32 baseplates together, making th building moe wider.

However, i would be more interested to see how Brachiosaurus fossil fit in that building.

Yeah it’s quote hard to imagine how Brachiosaurus fossil can fit in the museum. I think Natural History Museum will be available for preorder on October. 27, not sure?

We.will have offial images soon.
