I haven't bought a 1:10 car before due to lack of mechanical interest but I really do like the colour!!! The issues with proportions (which aren't all that bad to me) all seem to come from the wheel arches being too big and having to fit the car shape around them, so it will be interesting to see if the wheels fit in the smaller wheel arches, and if suspension/steering geometry can be upgraded to prevent rubbing while still having a good (meaning possibly unrealistically large) amount of suspension travel. I suspect the way to do it will be to shorten the top wishbone and angle it upwards (move it's mounting point out and down) so the top edge of the wheel moves inward and under the wheel arch as the suspension moves.

Well, the 1:10 wheels have a diameter of 68,8 mm. 9 stud arch has space of 72 mm, which leaves 1,6 mm space on each side. But that's not enough to accomodate steering, unless you use very thin walls?

Is the gap between the wheel arch and wheel that bad? I think it looks rather nice. But then again, I have learned to like the Subaru BRZ that have the same "issue". :)

It doesn’t bother me

I wonder if the steering wheel rotates as well as the HOG dial

It just should, as it was pretty easy to implement in corvette. As I checked, it should be also possible in Bugatti Bolide, as front is built pretty the same.

Yey! black shock absorbers on the front too

That was obvious from the images so far.

also looks like we get at least 2 of these in flat silver: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32054&colorID=95&in=A

I wonder how you can tell it apart from LBG? The top end seems pretty LBG to me, and nothing would warrant flat silver in a hidden position.

That's something pretty hard to see on the video, but maybe there's some movement in the cockpit as she steers the HoG.. I really could not tell though.

Well, if you look at the connector pinhole with 2 pins that they are connected to, the connectors are way lighter gray than the pin 2L with bush

Even more weirdly is the fact that the pins don't go anywhere else, they just go into the connector with 2 pins and thats it. I don't think I've seen that in an official lego technic set yet.

Maybe lego star wars did it but that's not my forté

looks like someone reviewed  it

edit: nope , never mind.

it's just a premere video of a load of babble)

2:18 it looks like 5 stud axle with endings like part 32494. It looks useful, very useful.

After get least 4 of original I will cut it in half or order more cada's joint.

Hmm, I certainly am excited about any new suspension part, but it seems the application becomes very specific with the the joint part at both ends. It limits the use to only this suspension arm length. Again, I’m happy to be able to narrow an independent suspension width a little more, but it seems to be missing some flexibility.

After second thought I think it is not that useful...but we'll see. I still don't think this part will allow me to prepare narrow independent suspension, but I hope I will find good use for them.

In am excited for the 7L flip flop beam. Pretty sure it was first released in this set? Will be getting at least one set for sure.

Here you can also see the diffuser is asymmetrical in panel usage... very unsatisfying! :pir_wacko:

It's needed for the spoiler mechanism. Personally I'm going to wait for a proper review before giving my final opinion.

I understand that, but they should've used the shorter panels on the non-spoiler side as well then.

But maybe it's just weird of me that I hate getting unequal amounts of left and right panels in a set? :drunk:

It was first released in Green in the one Monster Jam set this year, but are you seeing it in a more neutral color in this set?
