July 5, 200816 yr You know the lanterns? I'm guessing the Red Beard Runner might not have any, but look at the back of the Black Seas Barracuda and there are lanterns.

I was thinking of those tubes that light travels through, I forget the names, but my Dad got me some a while ago when I asked for some, If I remember the name I'll post them. July 6, 200816 yr Is it LED? It is an actual Lego part, used in this Technic set, among others. It is a principle based on little tubes transporting a red light. You will need one of these, eight of these, a 9 volt battery box+battery and a 9v cable. It is a nice system, I never MOC-ed with it but it may be suitable for the job intended.
July 8, 200816 yr Very nice! Honestly though, the title of the thread reminded me of a youtube video where they waterproofed a LEGO ship and sent it out to sea. It floated, but they set it on fire. Ironically, the ship was a RBR.

July 8, 200816 yr It could have benefited from a fully darkened room and a slightly more shameful approach to bluetack , but I liked it so much that I couldn't resist - CGI background by Mister Phes.
