LittleJohn Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Built for the Return of the G.O.A.T. contest on classic-castle. I chose to revamp set 6079, Dark Forest Fortress. My version features all the functions of the original, including hidden treasure in the bottom of the carriage, a working ramp to access the stable, working catapult, and of course a crashing tree function to barricade the path. I also added another hidden treasure chest underneath the stable. I’ve always liked the Dark Forest sets, so it was a fun challenge revamping one – though I admit trying to emulate the look of a raised baseplate was certainly a challenge at times!
