So far, most leaks of that sort happened around two weeks ahead of release, so mid-June sounds about right

I'm not in the US, but preordering it in the UK has done me no good; they haven't even dispatched it yet.  Lego really needs to employ more people and resources with all those profits I think.

Nope. Checked on June 1 and my nearest Lego store didn't have it in. They also didn't have any of the new Friends or Ninjago sets either so feel like it was a supply chain issue.

Uh, I saw the villains set at my store this past saturday!! Still in stock as of right now according to shop.lego.com, that's interesting! 

so unfortunately the disney villains set has sold out on lego.com uk

i just hope its on back order during the double points event starting this friday as that is why i have not got my copy yet

one good thing about this is since it seems to be selling so well more sets like disney villains could happen more often

It appears to be backordered for later in June here in the US.

This should convince Lego to make the ‘other half’ of this bookend. Many have suggesting a ‘heroes icons set’. I wouldn’t mind a villains part 2. 

I definitely wouldn‘t mind another set in the Villain Icons style, be it heroes or more villains  It looks great on display and the minifigs are simply amazing. They fit in extremely well with the CMF series!

Who would you all put in a villains 2 set? Excluding CMF villains.

 

Lion King is probably what I'd like to see most currently, even if it's just the newest Lion mold recycled/printed for Scar and Simba (and of course Timon and Pumba).

Ended up just ordering from Target Tuesday morning and it was on my doorstep already yesterday afternoon. My son and I are loving the build so far and would be all for a second one

I've just finished building after finally receiving my preorder yesterday. It was such a fun build; some interesting techniques, but not too hard at all and a lot of proper bricks so felt quite old school which adds to the nostalgic charm. I love flipping open the VHS top and all the little hidey holes. The printed clock face is also a lovely little print from one of my childhood favourites. I've got it on display now with all my classic animation villains from both the set and the CMF series: Maleficent, Genie Jafar, Gaston, both forms of the Evil Queen, Ursula, Cruella, Queen Of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, Captain Hook and Dr Facilier. It looks fantastic and so colourful and I just need to get a Series 2 Jafar and Hades and it will be complete (until they do more classic villains). A heroes version would be amazing to go with as it's makes for such a great way to display figures.

Scar, Shere Khan, Mother Gothel, Governor Ratcliffe (with Percy), Shan Yu, Lady Tremaine and Prince Hans are the notable exclusions I think from classic movies.

Yessss, I would love to see Lego do that. 

I got the final few Disney 100 CMFs that I wanted the other day from the LEGO store. Then went onto a Walmart and they had a few packs there. Only packs. All ripped open. A few bits and pieces had fallen out on the shelves.

There is going to be so much bother when they all come in boxes. Sad in so many ways.

Really like the Sorcerer Mickey figure, although the head feels just a bit too big, especially now it has the hat on.

How long will the Disney minifigures be on sale for? Another month?

If they ever do a Disney Heroes or 'supporting characters': Three Fairies, Tinker Belle's fairy friends

That‘s quite a high number of new moulds this would require, especially for an 18+ set  Humanoid characters that can easily be translated into minifigs are always a lot more likely

If we go by the running theory that the Villains picked have to have hero Minifigures already produced/set for production then the candidates would be: Yokai, Lady Tremaine, Prince Hans, Gantu, Shan Yu, Governor Ratcliffe, Te Ka, Strombolli, The Coachman, Honest John, Gideon. 

I could see Prince Hans, Lady Tremaine, Shan Yu, and a Madam Mim if Merlin ends up popping up somewhere in minifig form.

Many of the usual Instagrammers have put up pics ( they seem to be official pics as they’re of good quality ) of the new upcoming Disney Hocus Pocus set .. looks good .. sad to see there’s no Billy Butcherson though.

Wow the rendering on those image is ROUGH! I'm sure the set will look a lot better in the real-life images, because it just looks like a shoddy Studi.o MOC at this point. New figure parts and details are nice though.

Damn $250? I'd love to collect those figs but not for that amount.
