I'm sorry I fell for this one until I started reading all the other crap they posted.  If none of the Moderators actually gave this person the OK to post despite their claim they should get banned for this.  The silence from the OP is deafening.

Hey, I don't think he should get banned, just a talking to by some moderators about posting false claims. Its as simple as that, he has actually contributed meaningful content in the past, so I don't think we should be so quick to ban.

Saw the initial photos. So tempting to start collecting Disney Brickheadz, but I missed out on the initial ones in the series like Mickey, Minnie, etc. and they are going for $$$!!!

I don't really care for Brickheadz, but it seems that the entire run has been so that they can crown it with Wall-E and Eve. With the exception of Eve's eyes, they're brilliant.

I'm even tempted to get Cruella and Maleficent. They're done very well too. Hopefully bodes well for the rest of the wave, although the Brickheadz designers are a different group, aren't they?

I think we can all agree that it’s so refreshing when Brickheadz sets look like they’ve had some actual effort put into them. All 3 sets look rather brilliant.

I’ll be getting WALL-E and EVE at the very least.

All the BrickHeadz are really good, even tho I'm not into this theme.

EVE's eyes are weird tho, especially when standing right next to WALL•E.

Yeah, in the movie her eyes are oblong and slightly angled, so whenever some toy company tries to standardizing stylization and give her perfectly round eyes it just looks off.

Personally, I wish the designers would have deviated from the normal expressionless look here, black 1x1 round tiles with arcs or half circles to recreate her happy or angry expressions would have looked much better in this situation.

i think a fix for eve could be replacing the 1x4 plate with 2 studs with 2 1x2 jumpers, making the eyes more in the middle

What are you talking about?

What's the point of discussing fake LEGO rumours on a set discussion forum

I didn’t say discuss. It’s just better content than any of the crap that’s been on here recently

Bruh, it's not content.

It's a made-up leak. If this is content, then let's all start lying and making stuff up. Full-on anarchy, why not.

I'm not believing it. It was just interesting to read.

If we're doing that, then I heard that the next Disney D2C will be a full park setup (I don't know the parks, so I couldn't tell which one it was, but the picture had a tall castle in the middle and a shopping street), with a roller coaster, haunted mansion, open air theatre, and parade with fireworks. It contains minifigure costumed characters representing all movies, as well as guests, plus minidoll versions of them all, allowing people to choose their preference. Oh, and while we're at it, a monorail too.

Back to the real world, I'll also try to modify the eyes on Eve so that they're not quite so close to the edge. Two 1x2 jumpers should be fine to just bring them in a little bit.

I like the make up on Cruella (and Maleficent). Very neat. And Cruella's coat too. Really nicely done.

so 43225 is said to be a castle, I would be shocked if it was anything other than the disneyland one

According to a Reddit leak, that item number is $49.99 Princess set.

The retired Cinderella castle was $349+ when it was still listed. I don't see any set of that price point amongst those rumored. Also, if there were a substantial Snow White set, with a cottage and the seven dwarves, wouldn't that be $200+ as well.

The most expensive set number leaked so far is $149.99 for 'classic animation.' I doubt that would be any of the anticipated castle, etc.

Edit: Just saw the YT video saying that 43225 is a $160 set with 1808 pieces, but still most likely mini-doll based.

To be fair, the castle at Disneyland is significantly smaller than the Disney World castle…less than half the size (roughly). Could explain the seemingly drastic price difference?

I spoke to a moderator before posting and got permission, otherwise I wouldn't have posted. I appreciate their good faith in me. There's not much I can say in response except that everyone is entitled to their own views and I frankly can't blame people for not believing me, especially since I'm not a leaker.

The best defense I can offer you is that if I did want to make something up for the fun of it, wouldn't I just stick with a few sets based on a theme I know well? Many of the sets I posted about are themes I've never even bought from or don't know very much about so it seems silly to make something up just to rile people up.

Okay let's just say you are speaking the truth, you mentioned the moderators didn't allow you to post pictures here. So does that mean you have pictures you can post elsewhere? Like Instagram for example?

That story has so many holes it‘s not even funny. A survey about D2C sets? What would even be the point? The only things you could assess this way are the concept and the look/scale of the model. Wouldn‘t building experience be a much more important factor? Why ask random people online if you could recruit people to give feedback in person at the LEGO House? And let them sign an NDA?

Then there‘s the secrecy. The same company that managed to reduce leaks to the lowest point we‘ve been at is now fine with letting people see prelims of licensed D2C sets? And the people conducting the survey are okay with that info being shared? They must really hate their jobs then :laugh_hard:

And why would they conduct a survey so late in the game? Something tells me they wouldn’t alter or cancel a set a couple of months ahead of release based on survey results, so the survey would be entirely pointless to begin with.

Or is the plan to hope for as many lucky guesses as possible, and the rest will then be explained away with „they must‘ve been cancelled due to bad feedback“? How convenient.

Also, the „rumours“ haven‘t spread to IG. If they‘re not credible enough even for them, that‘s saying something

I mean I'm not going to believe it until the information can be verified but I think some people are being a little extreme in Thier responses and being dicks to be honest. At this stage if we can't verify it either way, so I don't think people should be so quick to vilify.
