With no tie-in for the Haunted Mansion movie this year, and the mini version released last year, it would be great if that was the D2C. Unfortunately the Fairground set with a very similar name is still on shelves.

Is Mulan's hairpiece rubber?

it looks to be the same one as the minidoll, so i would say yea

thinknig about it, has there ever been a rubber hairpiece in a cmf?

with these hd pics, i think baymax actually looks pretty good. it wouldve been better if he was more like hagrid, but for what it is, i like it

The leaked pic of the Evil Queen with the printed minifigure base shows the crown as having a domed head piece in the middle, kinda like the balk hair piece has the scalp showing through so you don’t see the stud on the top of the head. I think this is my favourite from this series. Love how the Slave in the Magic Mirror is depicted as a minifigure head. 😁

@JeanGreyForever I agree with you with the line down the torso, it just isn’t there in the film, I may try and get rid of it. I have some ideas on customising her already with official Lego parts and also the addition of one or two others 🍎🍷😁

I thought that was a nice touch for the Slave in the Magic Mirror as well.

It seems like they felt her design was too simple and needed something extra, hence the little additions to her. I'm not a fan but they're also not that noticeable and I wouldn't trust myself with being able to get rid of that line without damaging the torso overall lol. I was surprised they didn't give her a red apple but I'm glad they didn't waste their time on a generic part over something more specialized. A potion from Harry Potter would work really well for her. I just wish they had included the heart box that was intended to store Snow White's heart.

My fingers distinctly remember trying to feel out at a few. I'm pretty sure the mad scientist from series 4 (?) had rubber hair.

Edit: I think Dorothy from the Lego Movie 2 line was rubber as well.

I see. I don't care Rubber hair pieces.

The Reddit legoleaks page features a new image showing Robin Hood's tail, Aurora's sleeping face, and Miguel's alternate head and hairpiece. The slightest glimpse of Pocahontas' tattoo is visible as well although no more than before.

Punk rocker, Cave woman, Crazy scientist. I suspect there are others.

These figures have all grown on me, so I will get the whole series. I really like them and they did an undeniably great job, but that doesn’t stop me from giving criticism since there is room for improvement. As a designer I could’ve been more accurate on some bits.

Dear LEGO, those overly cute faces need to go. If the character doesn’t have it, don’t do it. Not only does that stylization steal from the likeness, but it also looks kind of bad. You managed to translate S1 and S2 figures without that issue, why not this time around?

Not hair, but wasn't the Maleficent CMF headpiece/ horns rubber - and is the same from the minidoll line?

Cho Chang from the first Harry Potter series had a rubber hairpiece. It was great because she was one of two characters in a massive 22 character series with the exact same owl mold accessory, but her hair made it really easy to tell them apart.

Prince John doesn't seem to have a tail. Is he suppose to have one? From the movie and other pictures he does have a tail.

Prince John's tail sits under his robe and pokes out the bottom. I can't recall offhand whether the minifig has a cloth robe piece (and am not currently in a position to check), but it seems like it would be difficult to accomplish either way. Not to mention, a skinny lion tail would be very prone to breaking/tearing.

I don't mind the lack. It's not a crucial part of his design.

Okay I have a dumb quesiton. Due to my low vision, I an’t tell if Peter Pan & Wendy’s Storybook has the identical Peter minifigure from Disney CMF. Series 1? Or is it slightly different?

The storybook has microdolls. There‘s a minifig in the 4+ birthday train set though with slight differences. New torso and faceprints, same hair/hat piece, and regular legs rather than dual-moulded ones :classic:

Oh! I dind’t realize that i was looking micro dolls! But thanks for info on the birthday train minifigure! That’s what I liked toknow.

But darn it, I was hoping for dual-molded legs. I wish they could improve a few older minifigures from Series 1.

They’re also micro dolls from the NEW ‘live action’ movie, rather than the classic animated one
