A Main Street--or at least a small section of it--would be lovely, especially if it included the antique vehicles that operate in that area. It doesn't seem very likely, however, because of the lower appeal to children compared to a fairy tale castle or electric train.

Yeah I do wish for a Main Street set one day. If they don’t do it this year, i guess I will use Diagon Alley as a Main Street for Disney park.

If you have the Creator Modulars, I would recommend those over Diagon Alley. The Disney theme parks Main Street is very much an everyday (early 1900s) town, not a magical neighborhood. The idea is to ease you in instead of hitting you with the fantastic adventures right off the bat.

I really think there is opportunity to make the Disney Main Street stand out from the creator set.  Especially if you include complementary details like cast members, dapper dans, trolley cart, and most of all WINDOW DISPLAYS!  The ones in Disney are iconic, and would be incredible in LEGO.  What makes Disney's Main Street unique is not that it is a true representation of turn-of-the-century town centers, but rather an idealized version unique to Walt's imagination.

Unfortunately, I’m thinking this will be minidolls. If Ariel’s palace ends up being movie accurate (based on original), I may still grab it, along with picking up the frozen castle. Movie accurate castles would display well side by side, and we do have the minifigs already to accompany them.

honestly, the only reason I haven’t already picked up the frozen castle is because it’s the only one of its type so far.

Really excited to see what the larger D2C ends up being, my running bet is still that it is sleeping beauty’s castle (with some additional landscape/hub builds). However, ideally, I’d love to get an attraction set or monorail

Rumours aplenty on Insta  of a July 1st release of another Disney Castle .. set 43222 .. 4837 pieces .. priced at $399.99 .. with an 18+ tag.

So many rumours at the moment, hopefully some leaks or official images soon.

@DisneyLego I did this with my Ice Castle .. replaced the minidolls with the Elsa and Anna minifigures, sadly the only Little Mermaid minifigure we have is Ariel ( I realise we have Ursula too .. but she was banned from the palace 😂 )

We’re all thinking it’s gonna be Ariel’s Palace ( and I know that’s what they’ll market it as ) but shouldn’t it really be Triton’s Palace, he was the King, Ariel just happened to live there too 😁

It should, but Ariel’s Palace will sell better than Triton’s Palace — at least it would if this wasn't a 160€ 18+ set.

Then why is Disney park called “Magic Kingdom”? :) I am thinking about adding Diaong Alley to Disney Castle and park Luke’s X-Wing Fighter on one of those roofs. So..yeah I like to. Mix up worlds. And yes, I’m an eccentric guy here.

A way to distinguish the Mulan CMF through feeling might be to detect rubber as her hair is made of rubber. Mulan is the only one I want anyways.

you could make a pretty accurate moc, with the cmf ocean kings hair, use the tail from the cmf mermaid (blue tail one), replace the beard with either the santa clause one or the one from rivendell, and use the torso from the beach batman from the 2nd cm and use the head of any old white guy that lego has made. (friends also made a king triton fig, but it uses a single peice for the head and beard, and its very friends) (oh and give him a triton :))

I...don't know what you expect me to say in response to this. The fact that the whole park is called the Magic Kingdom doesn't change the fact that Main Street isn't, in itself, especially magical.

With regard to your layout...you do you, I wasn't trying to criticize your plans. I thought you were looking to recreate the vibe of Main Street, USA in the Disney theme parks and I made a suggestion.

43215 (Minidoll Park) 1.016 pieces 7+ June
43218 Anna and Elsa's Magical Carousel 175 6+ June
43221  Paint With Mickey 1.022 pieces 6+ June
43222 TBA 4.837 pieces 18+ July
43223 6+ more info required October
43224 7+ another blank set for October
43225 {Minidoll Castle?} 1.808 pieces 18+
43226 TBA 553 pieces 6+ retailer exclusive?
43227 1.540 pieces 18+ June
43229 {Princess} 370 6+ retailer exclusive
43230 September release 811 pieces 18+
43231 (Blank October set 3) 7+

With 43225 being a potential minidoll castle, could 43222 still be another castle?

As much as I would very much like the Sleeping Beauty Castle, perhaps Main Street, or another attraction would be more likely? Then the castle would release later - perhaps when the Maleficent dragon vs Philip comes out.

I wonder what 43227 and 43230 could be? I'm hoping that just because they are 18+, that they could possibly be minifigures instead of minidolls.

Here's a leak of the little mermaid lego castle box artwork!

It's confirmed mini figure scale, because there is a similar little mermaid castle in doll scale, still on the shelves. So excited for this, It's going to be a unique build.

I recommend taking that down, leaks are not permitted on the site.

Ha ha. That looks nothing like LEGO even.

I'll delete the image not because it's a leak, but because it's obnoxious.

It seems the Minnie figure from the Anniversary Train 43212 will have the soft fabric for a skirt. I wonder why Lego decided this was the way to go and not the previous molded plastic skirt?

This fabric skirt just doesn't hold its shape. Anyone been able to starch it to hold its shape?

@hikouki .. I only have the Minnie from the Disney train, but wondered if you spray the cloth piece with spray starch and sandwich it between 2 moulded skirts until it’s dried ? The moulded skirts do seem to ‘fit’ inside one another .. I haven’t tried it yet but that was my idea ? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

Not sure if it’s been mentioned already but as an employee of a store that sells LEGO, the Ariel palace is listed in my system as “Disney Princess” and not “Disney Classic” like the other D100 sets. So I’m assuming it’ll have mini dolls. It has a July 1 release date. 43215 and 43221 are both listed as Disney Classic (same as Up House and Parade sets) and have June 1 release dates.

Nobody has mentioned JB Spielwaren's video of the CMF, or have I missed it?

My key takeaways:

- Pinocchio indeed has a standard Minifigure head with a moulded nose, and the hat hair is separate

- Pocahontas has arm printing (as I'd previously missed)

- The kid from Coco has an alternate head and hair, very confirmed. He also has arm printing (not sure if that was previously known or not)

- I love Tiana's hair even more! Wonderful little curls down either side.

- I don't like either of Milan's faces. There's just something quite off about them. Mulan is one of my favourite Disney movies though, so I'll probably still get her and replace the head.

- Excellent sleepy face on Aurora
