I'd love to know as well... only one Target near me puts sets out ahead of releases and the registers have stopped me every time.

Ive seen some reports of people getting by it but no explanations to how.

Any issue with the street date prohibiting you from buying?

Nope.  They rang up as Series 24.  I used the self checkout.

Receipt shows:   204001379 LEGO 71028

They are actually Lego 71038.  This is the first time since the Marvel series that I've actually found any in a Target other than a handful of the series 24 ones once right after the holidays.  I did find Muppet ones months after release & long after I had gotten all I wanted elsewhere.

I think it's easier for them to stop the sale of the big sets because they are probably input into the computer correctly.  But the CMF's they must just code all the same because they usually scan as the previous series if you buy them before the street date.

What’s the DCPI number on the receipt?

I really think the Disney 100 sets aren't temporary and that we'll see more minifig lego presence in 2024~. There's little reason to panic about this or that princess missing when we *know* there are a half dozen sets from leaks without dates or prices.

So far, which Disney 100 set numbers that are yet to be released are non- princess (non-minidolls)?

  • 40613: Agrabah Palace (mini)
  • 43222: Disney Castle
  • 43225: Little Mermaid
  • 43226: $45
  • 43227: $130
  • 43230: $120
  • 43232: $60, 18+

One of these is rumoured to be Lumière and Cogsworth, the rest are unknown. As 43225 shows, some of the others might also include minifigs :classic:

The only thing that‘s for certain is that the four sets from the catalogue leak aren‘t coming this year.

Any insights about the castle 43222? Is it a remake of the old one, or can we expect something new?

The current rumours suggest it‘s a remake. Not my first choice, but oh well :shrug_oh_well:

maybe the $60 one is the rumored peter pan set, as it is supposedly simmilar in size to the up house

Curious what those other $100+++ sets will be.

I’m only after sets that include minifigs. Couldn’t care for the brick-built displayables.

My honest guess is that theyre buildable figs. I didnt realize we had confirmation that the minifig scale Maleficent dragon with Prince Philip, and the buildable Donald and Simba models were postponed, but Donald and Simba wouldnt have surprised me for those $120-130 sets

I think the survey leak showed only potential sets for the future. By the time it happened, the 2023 sets were locked in. Some speculated that we might see some of the survey sets at the end of 2023, but not sooner.

I think those sets were planned for 2024 (or beyond?) from the get-go. So far, not a single one of the sets shown in the survey leak has been confirmed to appear this year, so why should the four Disney ones be any different? :shrug_oh_well:

Also, the piece counts don‘t match, not even when squinting.

New MOC potential: the Governor of Florida has mentioned building a new state penitentiary next to the park. Medium, or Dark Stone Gray?

I am not a big fan of buildable 'figs' at all. Although on the one hand, I could understand why Simba/ The Lion King could perhaps only be best featured in such form since minifig scale would have involved too many new moulds, no?

If I remember correctly, the four Disney sets that were included in that Survey list that leaked were: Snow White cottage, Simba (buildable), Donald Duck (buildable), and Maleficent Dragon vs the Prince. And the leaker mentioned that they were a price survey for sets for next year.

Perhaps one of those $100++ items remaining for this year could be the Lumiere + Cogsworth buildable set? Bummer if both are indeed buildables. :(

I was hesitant to post this, but since I'm now only missing Tiana and Red Queen, I'll safely say that the whole Target fiasco is true, down to the incorrect DCPI numbers.

I'd gone and got a bunch 2 times on the weekend after reading karrit's comments, and when I went back the third time, someone had gone and cleaned the ENTIRE stock out. They'd returned everything by yesteday though, so I got a bunch more and will return the extras this week and probably BL the last two.
CMF hunting is A LOT more fun when you're not fighting the whole city for stock, so I'm grateful they came out early lol.

@priceyplasticproduct on Instagram has some nice close up images of the minifigures from The Little Mermaid Clam set, taken from a box find in a Target store I’m guessing. The prints on them are pretty nice. Wish they’d have given Triton the new mermaid tail too, that old one is too blocky for me .. oh well 🙄

My local supermarket (a big central New York and beyond grocery chain that starts with a "W" and ends with "egmans") had the Disney figures today in their toy aisle. I was surprised and very delighted to see them. I was able to get eight of them - Aurora, Jiminy Cricket, Queen of Hearts, Robin Hood, Pocahontas, Miguel, the Evil Queen, and Mulan. The hunt has begun!

On first glance, that body used for Dr Eggman would have been awfully nice in all white😏

I wonder if this new body style will be used for Beast, perhaps.

It‘s not really new though, as it’s pretty much the same style used for Hagrid and that big troll from the Trolls theme. All three even share the same arm pieces :classic:

Not sure how well it would work for Beast, but certainly better than a minifig or a bigfig ever could. Or that hilariously awful minidoll. I mean the head was ok, but that lanky minidoll body just didn‘t work AT ALL.
