I'm not one for buildable figures usually.  But, as a huge Stitch fan I will definitely need to get this one.  Kind of glad they went with a buildable figure rather than a Brickhead though.  But they'll probably do a Brickhead eventually also.

Yeah, perhaps they're saving Lilo for a Lilo & Stitch Bridckheadz, or on another CMF. (To me, a CMF #4 could not come soon enough... the last one left so many more figures behind!)

More Rumors for 2024

43233 Belle's Storytime Horse Carriage ($15.99, 62 pcs)

43234 Elsa's Frozen Treats ($15.99, 82 pcs)

43236 ????? ($44.99, 329 pcs)

43237 ????? ($44.99, 641 pcs)

43238 Ela's Frozen Castle ($44.99, 163 pcs 4+)

43239 ?????? ($29.99, 334 pcs)

43246 Princess Market Adventure ($99.99, 817 pcs)

43248 ?????? ($34.99, 394 pcs)

43249 ?????? ($64.99, 729pcs)

I'm guessing the ones we have names for will be part of the Disney Princess minidoll line but looks like 5 in a reasonable price range. More dioramas?

Really glad to see so many cheaper sets. I really hope that Stitch is one of them, because I really don't like the idea of paying 100€+ (and I love Stitch so much that I would).

It's great to see that Disney has finally expanded beyond the minidoll Princesses line.

Buildable Stitch most likely is, since as far as the rumours are concerned, the set comes out in Winter 2024.

The others are not. We don't even know if they'll ever release.

I don't think any of those will be from the earlier picture leak - those all looked like 1000+ piece sets. I could be wrong, though.

The only feasible one would be Maleficent's Dragon. I could see that being around 800 pcs and 43249 at $64.99 with 729pcs would fit that ball park. The others leaks, not so much.

I’m beginning to think there’s a chance that Snow White set might not happen at all. The movie, despite still being in production, is experiencing a lot of controversy.

It was a clear missed opportunity on Lego’s part not to have done that for Ideas some time back, and not to have done it during this 100th celebrations.

This is what happens when you tie in an set based on an already successful story, to a new untested movie.

Oh well, at least we have Snow White and Florian. Hoping we still get Belle and Beast for the remainder of the year.

The rumour of a buildable Stitch for next year makes sense since the live action for Lilo & Stitch should be released in 2024 on Disney+. Hopefully we get a set based on the original film too with Lilo as a minifigure.

I think the other way. Given the sets are for January and March of 2024 and the live action is coming out in March, I think this increases the odds that the cottage would be based on the animated movie if it gets made at all. Disney would want any sets based on the live action out to coincide with the film's release like they did for Little Mermaid but none of these sets look even remotely close to a Dwarf's Cottage piece count. We may get it in a summer of Fall wave next year so I'm choosing to be optimistic and cross my fingers.

I know Lego doesn't follow patterns that often, but seeing as the camera was revealed (or leaked don't remember) on July 5th and doesn't release until September 1st, hoping we get to see those last 2 Disney classic sets that release October any day now

AshnFlash has a review up of the Peter Pan “Off to Neverland” set .. quite a nice little build .. although missing 2 major characters from an iconic scene .. poor John and Michael.

For the exorbitant price, they could have at least added Wendy's hairbow. Not a fan of them reusing Cinderella's face for her. It doesn't suit her whereas Alice's face would have made more sense if they had to reuse an existing head.

yea the price would have been much more justified with their inclusion, even if they added those 2 and made tink a statuette figure, thats best case scenerio

agreed. alices face logically makes more senses actress wise, and I already plan on ordering some bows to give her, makes no sense considering its the exact same hair

so the trailer for that lego princess special came out, some interesting inclusions

dont remember what the survey set looked like, but this could be what a maleficent dragon ends up looking like

gaston minidoll, new hairpiece looks interesting

and most interestingly imo is what i assume to be flower, which looks to just be using the 2016(?) skunk mold, could be wrong about that tho

Since this is my first year collecting Lego I have a doubt seeing that we already have rumors for 2024: can we expect any sets in November/December? Or is October the last month when Lego releases sets?

Posted

Huh... Well, as much as I hate minidolls, I have to say this short looks like it could be kinda fun, even if it is a bit "young" for me - I'm a sucker for crossovers, and the Lego Star Wars shorts got some laughs out of me. Also very cool that they got the original voice actors back for four out of the five princesses (Snow's excused - they use the person who voices her for current stuff) and Gaston, plus several of the side characters, based on a quick IMDB search. I wonder who else will show up...

What will make this all worth it is if, at the end of the short, it's shown that a minifigure Belle was narrating the story to someone the entire time, which then leads to the shadow reveal of the "missing" Beauty and the Beast minifigure set. Zero chance it happens, but I can dream...

You picked a good year to get started! Here's a compiled list of what's still to come - no clue what exactly the sets are. As we learn more, people will post it in this thread.

I hope we get that hairpiece at some point it looks pretty good.

It kind of looks like Ariel has a new hairpiece too.

I don't think that Gaston hairpiece is going to be real. It's like the animation team just took the current "receding hairline" part and attached a pony tail to it.

Looks like there is going to be a triple mashup Lego theme: CNY Brickheadz Disney as per Brick Clicker as part of the CNY line??? Interesting.

Uh what? He said that? Great no in-house CNY thing then… thanks Disney a lot.
