Wow, didn't know that. I guess it's nothing new. I still don't like it but glad to know it's not some new trend to worry about.

Sets like those make me both happy and sad! Happy to see an homage to B&B. Sad because there are no existing minifigs to display it with. :(

That fellow also did a good MOC of the Cinderella castle in microscale!

I don't think anyone else has posted this yet, but there are at least two "Disney Classic Animation" sets that are reportedly coming next year in March:

43239: $29.99 (334 pieces)

43249: $64.99 (729 pieces)

In total, that means we're looking at one Pixar set, two Disney Classic minifig sets, eight minidoll princess sets, Ariel's castle, and one set that's still unknown (43247).

Ehhh, not  sure… we had Hungarian Horntail, Hedwig, Dobby and Fawkes the buildable sets and I think there are no minifigures? But Stitch the buildable ound be possible becuase Lilo is not an existing minifigure while we get a bunch of Harry Potter characters since 2018.

Horntail and Hedwig had Harry, Fawkes had Dumbledore

I would welcome any new Disney Minifig, but really doubt Lego would include one in any buildable-character display piece.

I saw people on Instagram speculating that these might be the rumored Maleficent and Snow White cottage--an idea that I think is laughable at those price points and piece counts (ok . . . maybe they could squeeze the Maleficent dragon into a $65 set, but I sincerely doubt it).

Regardless, I'm excited that there are still sets based on classic Disney films in the works! I'm curious/excited to see what they might be! I'd personally love to see some of the minifigures from the castle included in more affordable sets, but I could see TLG holding off on that for a bit to maintain demand for the more expensive set. Obviously, something based on Beauty and the Beast would be exciting. I'd also LOVE to get minifigures from The Sword in the Stone, but I know that's unlikely since that film has never moved a lot of merchandise for Disney.

I wonder if those might be themes that have never been featured before or possibly follow-up sets to those released this year?

That being said, I wonder if these might feature repeat minifigs? Lego just loves that!

I’m still holding out hope for the Snow White cottage .. as long as it’s not based on the remake .. I just dont see how Lego or especially Disney didn’t want to release a set based on the one that started it all 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄 .. the price point and piece count of even the larger of the 2 sets both seem too low .. but time will tell.

From those sets that @JeanGreyForever leaked, which ones have been confirmed? It seems like it has just been the medieval village? Licensed items are usually iffy...

The ones have been at least vaguely confirmed so far, are the batman Gotham skyline, X-Mansion, Harry Potter sorting hat and castle medieval village. As far as I recall anyway.

Understandable from an adults perspective. As a child I loved Hagrids hut, because it looked really good. I also adored the paper background in the Lego studio vampire set. I drew a lot of backgrounds and implemented them in my builds.

I think it's great and more interesting than the 40600 projector GWP. Maybe they'll make a Donal Duck set one day based on the 'Out of Scale' Cartoon... THAT would be awsome!

Still have a few Disney sets on my wishlist.  Was Planning to pick up Walt's Camera during AFOL Day so now I need to decide if I want to hold off for the GWP.  Wish we had an Idea what the threshold will be.  I have the Ideas set but this one looks cute.

The new gwp looks good. I don't have the old one, so depending on the amount of money needed I might try to get this one. I still haven't bought the camera or the villains sets.

Brick Clicker is speculating that it is probably 200+. I can see that with that piece count, plus the fact that the 100 gwp is coming back at around 100+ threshold.

Hoping the Sanderson house qualifies and I'm glad I hadn't bought that yet.

Oof. I hope it‘s not just Disney sets that qualify, otherwise this is gonna be a tricky threshold to reach, considering I already bought everything I wanted. I have purchased duplicates before just for the sake of a GWP, but I‘m running out of storage space for extra sets like that  Granted, still better than dishing out 80€ or more for a set that‘s supposed to be for free

even if just marvel and star wars stuff applies would make it so much easier, still disney too so would make sense

The Disney 100 Years Celebration gift with purchase is available again from 23/9 to 30/9 for Disney purchases over 100 €. I find it surprising since there was the new gwp rumored for October. Is it normal to have two gifts on the same theme with so little time between them?
