LEGO moving US HQ from Enfield to Boston

No comments, but its a shame to see them go. The customer service people were neighbors and we could chat about places to eat, etc. while getting orders finished. Hope all the folks can be accommodated.

Actually, quite an interesting read.  Business material for all you business minded folks.  First I thought.....why?  Enfield and Boston are so close (relatively, I mean relative proximity based on the costs and headache of moving such an HQ).  But reading the article it is clear the move is for talent acquisition.  Which I wouldn't think would make THAT big of deal, just a 100 miles away.

Boston is a major metro area with a much larger population. Enfield is kind of a backwater by comparison. I moved from Hartford County to Metro Boston myself, as it happens. Shame to see CT lose one of the cooler companies there, but I suppose I understand.

They held FIRST Lego League events there, so I actually visited once. Memory of that period is fairly foggy but I remember being very excited to go. I remember they sold bags of random loose parts which was mind blowing.

Boston has many colleges and universities too.  Driving and parking in Boston is bad but the MBTA is good.
