Tom_Brick Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 (edited) I needed a bit of a break working on my Crusader fortress. So I figured I could do a little something from the other side and decided to do work on a Mamluk fortress as well. I planned to do a smaller fortress than the crusader one, but things escalated quickly and it ended up bigger than the crusader fortress. It is in essence a fantasy building, I wasn't trying to copy any existing structure. But it is heavily inspired by the Qaytbay Citadel in Alexandria as well as the ruins of the Akabah fortress. I'm not sure what to do with it though. I'm not sure it would be worth it to create instructions. At more than 6200 pieces, it would be a pain to do so. Plus, stud.io says that the cost of the parts amounts to more than 900$, so not many people will be interested in building it, particularly since this is a fringe topic to boot. Be that as it may, I enjoyed designing it. Here are some pictures: Edited January 29, 2023 by Tom_Brick Quote
A_Forest_of_Lego Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 That looks amazing! I love all the details in the structure and on the ground! Quote
Feuer Zug Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Solid citadel you've created, and this is micro scale. Even at this scale, it's impressive the amount of details you managed to fit. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Epic architetture! I like how this structure looks amazing both inside and outside! Top notch work! Quote
