Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread

My guess is that, by January/February, we will have a better idea on how much from the video will for sure be coming. By that point, we will hopefully have some set numbers and possibly even photos of at least a couple of the things from that leak. If even a couple of them start to become more concretely confirmed (or even release), then I'll be more likely to believe the rest (keeping in mind some may still get cancelled). I'm still not expecting that set to release until at least summer next year, though, in basically the same slot that Eldorado Fortress had this year.

I am wishing that village is coming, though, and that it isn't just be a concept that dies in the bowels of Lego for whatever reason. My siblings and I all pooled our money to get it over the course of the year and got it, and it's probably one of my favorite and most nostalgic sets (along with that entire fantasy wave - I'm so glad I still have all of them and got to be the sibling to inherit all of them). If it does come, I'll probably use the money I currently have earmarked for the Disney castle and get the Medieval Village + Viking Village instead. So, fingers crossed!

It's great to see that Brick Clicker confirms the release of the Medieval Village!

Together with the MVV we then will be able to build a small medieval town - awesome.

From what I have heard he has not confirmed a single set from that survey just repeated the old info in a new video so we still do not know anything

Hmm... Going through the main list on jedijacpenguin's website, sets 10324-10331 have dates of January 2024-March 2024. That could mean that we see this set (assuming it is the MMV) as early as April... Though I still think a Summer release is more likely (plus then I won't have to choose between this and Animal Crossing in the same month).

It would be funny if that code name was an allusion to the supposedly "vaulted" goat mold, though - even if code names don't usually mean anything.

I'd take it more as recreating a set from the vault. Didn't 10320 Eldorado Fortress have vault associated with it at some point?

Yes, it was its coded name for a while. Never really understood precisely this term, despite my translation efforts to grasp its meaning.

It is because EF was a rerelease/remake of a retired set; it was being "brought out of the vault", as it were (see the Disney Vault).

It's all coming together now!

So glad that the survey set do seem to be coming true now, this one and the Zelda one  are some of my most anticipated !

The Zelda Deku Tree isn't yet confirmed but we've got this one, the batman one and seemingly the X-men one all confirmed, so it's seeming more likely that we'll see all of them, maybe some that were unliked by the survey would be cancelled but the only one that got a real negative response from people who saw it via the leak seemed to be the buildable sorting Hat.

I think if the Village is coming it will take the place of Eldorado Fortress, Lion Knights castle and Galaxy Explorer. So I won´t expect some real information anytime soon.

I doubt that the village would take the place of three existing sets. The Galaxy Explorer is EOL this year, and probably getting replaced by the Moments spaceship; I can see the Lion Knights’ Castle retiring next year and being replaced by the village (since the surveyed price range is $190-$310). 

As far as real information goes, @Falconfan1414 said on Instagram that set 10332 “Vault” is very likely the village.

With place I didn´t mean it would replace them. Just that I think it will be released at the same time in early august ;). 

I doubt that the Lion Knights Castle will retire next year already. I would actually think it will be one of those sets that stay around for quite a while, before they retire.

Could be, but would be even better if we get a new one for next year that go better with the set e.g a farmer with a horse/ox cart with some pigs or another farm-animal they do not include in the set inside the cart

One of the least likely sets leaked from the survey is rumored for HP, the odds for the medieval village increased a lot if that is true

 given that the Majisto GWP was a very popular GWP, it's possible that LEGO will bring it back for the MMV. This will be an opportunity for me, who missed it the first time, to get this great GWP.

Actually. The first time will still be in the future. It is said it will be out as GWP from 18th November. There aren´t even any pics out yet.

Anyways I don´t see them bringing it back for the Medival Market Village, unless that one would come in early 2024 - but I would suspect for it to come around the same time the Lion Knights Castle and the Eldorado Fortress were released. Likely with a new GWP

I think that the Majisto GWP is only going to be available from November 18th to November 19th, so I can see it coming back in the spring of 2024.

Rumors are hinting at an April 2024 release, which is why I made that comment.
