That actually is something that I would be interested to know too. If it is more like, they have a budged of lets say ten and a mould costs 4 a print 1 and a recolour 2 or something like that.

Well do we actually know that the CMF series used the budged for it? I mean I wouldn´t wonder if it did, but it actually is also possible that they shared the budged for instance.

It doesn’t matter if it doens’t have a hen in, that hairpiece could be useful for this town square even if it has two visible braids.

According to multiple designer interviews, new parts, recolours, and prints are weighted equally in a set or theme’s budget (all count as “changes”).

My guess is a combination of being smart and offsetting the cost of the mould with also being smart and ensuring that AFOLs continue to buy CMFs despite their being in boxes.

You might be right The way I see it it that the goat was number 1 mould on the list for this set Question then is why did they use the CMF budget to bring it back, was it because they could not afford a mould or was it because they where smart and made something else instead for their budget?!

Generally sets that are produced in higher quantities (like the CMFs) tend to be better for introducing new molds than sets produced in lower quantities (big exclusive sets like this). Since it costs a lot to produce a new mold, putting it in a cheaper, more widely produced set gives it more bang for its buck.

We know nothing of what new elements will be included in the set, aside from the goat (basically confirmed by its presence in Series 25).

Ah thanks. I don’t follow this thread realy closely. I was under impression taht there was a “confirmed” new mold as i read the previous and current pages.

Yes it may be that they have a maximum of changes in a set, however it is definitely not so that they can swap the other two with new parts! It seems like new parts are sometime given e.g. you can have one new part for this set (make whatever you like) and sometimes true applying and necessity. Take Winnie the Pooh, Ideas set normally do not have new parts, however for the minifigs to look good it got 5 parts that probably increased the price of the set and reduced the number of parts it could include. Say it had 10 changes in the budget, half are already used and it got 2 new prints and say 3 new recolours

The x-mas GWP is a horse-drawn carriage with 3 minifigs, something similar just for Castle would be a fantastic GWP for MTS

With the modular arrived already do we expect any other Icons set other than the botanical ones in January? If we are lucky it could mean this comes in February or Match I guess

Not that I know of but I personally wish there would be a second (smaller) modular building coming up in 2024, of course it’s unlikely.

I reember that the Icons Moment sets would be expected to come ou in April - that black spaceship and this one. It could make sense why Moment subtheme would be born if two sets are released at same time, I guess?

The Moments space set is said to come in April, yes. The Town Square is not a moments Set though. However rumours said it would come either march or april and I remember someone stating later it would be april. And even though it is not a moments set, I still would think it would come together with that one (same as Galaxy Explorer came with the Lion Kings Castle)

Well, i rmemeber there are two Moments sets coming in April. 

So it could be possible that time square is the second Moment set since it’s placed under Icons branding.

We have a set number of a second moments set, but that is basically all the info we got about that. We don´t even know the theme for that one. It is moments, but whether it will be castle, pirates or space - who knows - although pirates would be the most likely since we getting the other two already - and I would actually think we will get that one July or August.

We have 10391 for the Moments: Space, 10392 for the other Moments and 10332 for the Town Square.
