Welcome to Eurobricks!

Any guesses of animals and minifigs is mostly rooted in the old leak pictures. No chickens could be easily seen, but that photo wasn't final. We'll know for sure in a few days, hopefully!

If for some reason it doesn't have chickens, though, you can get them from either Lego directly on Pick a Brick, or from Bricklink.

Some posters here have very good eyesight and do see chickens in that blurry photo.  Reddit has used AI to try and enhance it if you want to try your luck!  

An alternative for chickens is brick built.  The Creator Castle has instructions for two chickens and a rooster from basic pieces you may already have.  I only have one from the Muppets CMF, and she's wearing eye shadow!

I recently got a bunch of brown  dark orange chickens from the Monkie Kid polybag.   But it's as super hard to find polybag apparently, and I've only ever seen it once.  Luckily I grabbed 4 when I did.

I'd like to get some white chickens though, definitely.

I think you can sometimes find chickens in the Build-a-Minifg section if you have a store nearby that has a BAM. In Australia, the brown chicken comes with a Ninjago style BAM online, which usually means you can get them in store.

If there is indeed chickens in the prelim i think that it is a high chance if not then there probably is a 40% chance. All those owls and small birds must be stand ins for other animals, on the other hand chickens should not be so hard to come by that they need a stand in Best if they are in the prelim because that means there are more animals there than I thought

Honestly all those stars on him kinda look like a clicheé to me. The fig still looks nice but as I said it doesn´t look like Majisto to me. I´ve said it before in the Majisto GWP thread I think but for me it would have been easy to make a nice Majisto, with only one printed Part. They could have left the torso plain, since most of it is covered be the beard anyways and just put a print on the legs/skirt. Just a cord with a pouch would have been enough, though some folds would have been nice too.

I just saw a brown chicken in the BAM section of the Copenhagen airport store.

There's white chickens on PAB.  At the Walmart near me they have the sonic polybag.  I didn't see the monkie kid one.  I hope they get some that's a nice way to get some good pieces.

Worst Case scenario they sell more chickens in PAB at the lego shop anyways, therefore ensuring that you can get the amount that you want.

Yes, but you can say that for any animal included in the set that is not new in any way. "To bad they did not include it, but it is possible to buy at PAB" Yes there are more farm animals available in Lego now than ever before, but in my mind the set must speak for it self and include a lot of animals to make it fantastic. In addition the animals on PAB rely on that they are in set on shelf's to stay in stock and this is a perfect set to have a lot of them so they can stay in stock the coming years, if not we can end up in a new goat situation down the line..

It's a fair point. I wonder why the mouse and flamingo haven't appeared in sets after the CMF. There would be a lot more of them out there if they had been produced for a retail set.

I don't get why the mouse doesn't appear more often.  They even use the old rat more often, while I see the mouse used in more promo material than in any actual sets.  The mouse looks way more like Lego than the rat!

The Snow White set leaked so hopefully we will see the MTS set soon.  The Snow White set looks great can't wait to see better pics of the dwarves.

I would like to see the mouse return to sets so we can get it on PAB at some point.

I would guess the answer to this is quite simple. The rat is in production since 2018 so it is just cheaper to add them to sets than paying the budged to bring to mouse back. BTW, the old rat is retired since 2018, when they made the new one - the same year they also made the mouse. And the Harry Potter theme kept the rat alive. I also would love to see the mouse back, though I am not sure if we ever would get it back in it´s dual-moulded form.

I don't know if you know, but this new set has been revealed " Snow White's house " 43242. This could make a superb addition to Medieval Town Square!

Hi guys, 

I'm new to this forum. Went through the entire threat and loved reading all your posts about this set. Checking daily for updates the last weeks, really looking forward to see how this set turns out. The prelim got me excited about the civilian side of LEGO castle.

I'm lucky to have the original MMV and MVR, and hope this set will fit in nice with the LKC. I'm more of a buildings guy, but reading about the possible minifigs and animals got me wondering what we'll get.

Any of you interested in the D&D set as well? Can't find a release date on that one. I'm not much for dragons, but the buildings seem pretty cool and could match the MTS. Too bad the price of the D&D set is pretty high.

Is there any news on a castle themed GWP coming soon? Would love to see a remake of wolfpack as a bandit faction for this set.

Anyway, just a couple of days now!

Snow White cottage seems more in scale with Blacksmith than it would be for LKC/Medieval Market Square.  Still a nice looking set regardless.
