Traditionally, release announcements are very close to actual release though aren't they?  Like within a week or two between a teaser/announce and the release?  I think there were even some sets teased a couple days before an actual release.

I have to say, I did enjoy the Blacksmith teasers, and the hints we got for LKC through the Back to the Future teaser.

I'd imagine it's March 1st for Insiders now then general release on March 3rd now.

The set was originally releasing in April so Lego have switched the release around a lot for this one

The Lion Knights Castle was revealed 6 weeks before, though that was at the Lego Con, so you can´t really count that. Eldorado Fortress was revealed 3 weeks before and Rivendell was revealed on 7th february and sold on 8th march, with VIP presale on 5th - so an reveal tomorrow doesn´t seem unlikely to me.

I’m quite looking forward for the Medievdal Town Square set somedays.  But maybe not tomorrow.

Ah, so there wasn't actually a leaked date for an announcement, this is mostly based on 'Month before release' speculation then based on the rumored March 1st/3rd release, right?

Since there was a specific date rumoured I would actually think it will be that date. As mentioned above, Eldorado was just three weeks, Rivendell was more, so there isn´t really any rule that would let us predict the reveal date. 

Also fan medias that got the set/got to see it also get the date/time when they are allowed to upload their videos/blog posts, so it seems more likely that one of those is the source of that date IMO.

oh wow, I didn't hear about that.  I mean, guess that makes sense since they do reveals to youtubers ahead of time, but didn't really kick in that it'd already would have happened already.  Okay, so it's more than just a wild guesstimate, good to know.

We will know for sure tomorrow but it seems very likely to me. 

Fan Medias also get Lego sets ahead of time so they have the time to build/review it and are able to have the reviews ready when the sets get revealed.

This is something I was wondering about.  What time zone the announcement is based on.  Since I am in US Mountain Time zone was kind of hoping it would be announced early in the day on Billund time so I can see it before I go to sleep.  But I guess since we are not even 100 percent sure of anything tomorrow/today no point in trying to guess the time.

The Discord was all abuzz about what time exactly it will be revealed....

And there's been a reliable tease about the set's goat in that discussion!  (I don't want to steal the joy from the Discord and repeat the person's information)

There's a leaked image out, which looks legit.

I can only see one dark grey goat. Just one???

The buildings and whole set looks decent and high quality, but there was something a little more charming about the original, though that could be just nostalgia talking. This one has a lot more detail, of course. It feels lacking in the animal department though - all I see is one goat, kitten, squirrel and bird. It needs more, including some pigs and cows!

It only has the front of box, so it is still hard to see torsos and detail of the buildings.

Yeah looks like 8 figs and a goat with maybe some smaller animals.  Some very nice details and looks like new torso and leg prints.  Not as many animals as the original photo still looks great.

the positive point is that there are many civilians and torsos look new.

the only similarity i see is the red building with the tower. it looks like 2 buildings that open in the middle. I expected more for that price, to be honest.

Blue bird, red bird, white kitten, dark orange squirrel, and a grey goat. Somewhat disappointed in those, but the rest of the set looks really good to me. Seemingly lots of new torsos. I like the balance and range of buildings. Looking forward to more photos soon.

8 minifigs, with 1 soldier* and a hooded rogue-type character. Can't see their torsos.

 

Someone get around to Roebuck's house to stop him killing himself...

I see a grey goat, white cat, brown squirrel, green frog, red bird, blue bird. No horses or cows etc. No farm birds.

 

*Lion Knight - minifigs are slightly viewable on the top of the box
