CDKiii Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Hi everyone, Do you think it could work with this type of device for pad printing? It seems to be the cheapest way to print white on minifigs. Stamp maker Quote
JopieK Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 There are people that do pad printing e.g. for lettering. A better way is UV-ink but way more expensive. Quote
MAB Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 With stamping and PAD printing you also need to think about the scale. A product that stamps 15cm images that look good might be terrible for 1cm prints. The fuzziness of the print edges is the same at both scales so much more noticeable on a small print. Quote

You should be right. it is so bad that these technics are so expensives. Even a white ink printer is out of access. Quote
Mount and Brick Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) I recently got into pad printing my own figs. It's decently expensive, but not totally out of reach. Pad is comparatively cheap, and I haven't had any major issues with prints being fuzzy, so I guess it depends on what you're printing (sorry, just saw this was kinda necro, whoops) Edited August 23, 2023 by Mount and Brick clarification Quote
