It is always a rough ride. Once you see the backbone of the Galactic Enforcer Fleet close-up in its vertical launch position you realize that the LL929 interceptor is no more than a very uncomfortable seat strapped to a very complex set of thrusters, boosters and nozzles. The immense power of the main engine reportedly caused the  spine of a starfighter pilot to have shrunk 3 centimeters during a two hour dogfight.
One which he won. Against a squadron of hostile Blacktron Invaders.






I wanted to make this as 'realistic' as possible with the cramped cockpit, the pilot position and all sorts of spacey details.

Also fun to see 40, 30 and 20 year old elements perfectly come together with new part designs. Gotta love LEGO.

I’m almost having a seizure from all these parts/techniques I do/don’t know/understand. How people come up with these kinds of NPUs is beyond me. I’m just baffled. Probably my only critique would be that it’s yet another classic space themed build instead of the more interesting subthemes out there, but that honestly is scraping the barrel with the quality of this build!

WOW! NPU to the extreme. Everything from the sail panel thingy at the prow to the compartment holding the rover that becomes part of the rover itself is awesome!
