Brick Wiz Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 With both reboot Hogwarts Express sets only including Platform 9 3/4, I started working on a few version of Hogsmeade Station as companions to 75955! First is the Sorcerer's Stone Hogsmeade Station as played by Goathland Station: Hogsmeade Station 01 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Also decided to add the gates with a pile of luggage: Hogsmeade Station 03 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr The ticket counter and tea room on the inside could be a perfect home for the unnamed minifigs from 40500: Hogsmeade Station 02 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot from SS that I mainly worked from: Goathland 2 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Next is the Order of the Phoenix/Halfblood Prince version that was built in Black Park: Alt Hogsmeade Station 01 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr I pictured this one also tying into the Thestral/Carriage set: Alt Hogsmeade Station 02 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot that I mainly worked from: BPCP by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr And lastly, I winterized the OoTP/HBP version to look like Hogsmeade Station at the entrance to Universal's Wizarding World. This one could work next to the Hogsmeade and Shrieking Shack sets! Alt Hogsmeade Station 03 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot that I mainly worked from: HM-Universal by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr All 3 of these are fully buildable, but I live in an apartment in NYC, so my LEGO Room is Stud.io! Let me know what you think! Quote
Magnum Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Really gorgeous! I would want all of them for my Lego Potter display. Which sticker did you use on the gates? Quote
Brick Wiz Posted March 23, 2023 Author Posted March 23, 2023 Thank you! I drew my own stickers based on pictures of the gates. At some point I want to get the pieces and build these too. Quote
SuperChris Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 I adore your version of Goathland Station! I’d buy that in a heartbeat. I’d have bought the D2C train if a version of that station was included. Quote
evanevanevan Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 All of these are fantastic! Would love to have instructions or files for these to build them! Quote
TheInvisibleMan Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Great effort - this station is a glaring hole in the current HP lineup in my opinion and these (somewhat condensed) versions do it proud! I’d love something along the Goathland Station lines to become reality as it would be a day one buy from me! Quote
Vindicare Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Great job! I could definitely see them both becoming sets. Especially so with the first one. The building reminds me of last year’s WV set. Quote
Brick Wiz Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 Really appreciate the all the comments!! Quote
BrickMatit Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 @Brick Wiz these are really good MOCs. It would be a really incredible coincidence if one of the unknown summer set will be a Hogwarts Express remake with Hogmseade Station! I really like both your stations, but as a set I would prefer the Philosopher Stone one. How many pieces are them (PS station; gates; OotP station with no carriage)? Thanks in advance. Quote
Brick Wiz Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 @BrickMatit The piece counts for each (excluding minifigs) are: PS Station - 528 Gates (with luggage pile) - 301 OotP (without carriage or background tree) - 314 No problem! Quote
BrickMatit Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Thanks a lot @Brick Wiz Considering 2018 Hogwarts Express pieces (more or less 280 for the locomotive, 44 for the tender, 229 for the carriage) and assuming the new Hogwarts Express will have nearly the same number of pieces, there are nearly 520 pieces to arrive at the predicted 1074 for the new set. A PS station like yours could be possible. While an OotP/HPB station would probably be better for carachters selection, as a building the PS station is, in my opinion, more interestin than the OotP/HPB one. Quote
