Jurss Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Recently built 42005, so it inspired me to build some smaller monster truck. I don't want to call it smaller 42005, as then it should have been littlebit different. Here it is Fully compressed supension Somthing from build process Next to big brother Quote
Davidz90 Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Wow, the suspension in impressively compact. And if I see correctly, there is also a four wheel steering? Quote
gyenesvi Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Oh, I love that suspension / steering build, indeed really impressive :) Nice body as well! Quote
lmdesigner42 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Love the compact suspension design with all the small links! I tried building something similar a few years ago and found that the soft shocks were too hard for such a small model when they were positioned vertically. Angling them is a great solution. Quote

Nothing close to that 42005 really nice, soft, responsive suspension. Quote
Jundis Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Cool model @Jurss :-) 1 hour ago, Jurss said: they still are. Nothing close to that 42005 really nice, soft, responsive suspension. The monster trucks in the 60295 are have only the rubber connectors as "shocks", would it maybe be possible to use only 1 soft shock absorber on each axle and use the connectors somehow to keep the axle leveled? But then again, it would look silly :D Quote
Jurss Posted March 26, 2023 Author Posted March 26, 2023 I was thinking about levers somewhere on top, but that is just too much to hide with good body. Quote
