It loomed in the distance, rising high above the trees. A silent sentinel keeping watch over the surrounding wilderness. My heart raced with anticipation as the faded banner flapped in the whispering breeze.

There was no mistake. I was in the right place.

But as I drew nearer, dread crept up my spine.

Hand locked in the pommel of my sword, I approached cautiously. My throat tightened with every step. My chest burst with foreboding, for inside was the answer I pursued. The man I followed all along.

And by the gods, I would not let him escape this time.

As I climbed the creaking stairs, frail and unstable, the air grew thick with the stillness of a forgotten time. I heard the whispers within the shadows. Mocking, doubting.

My grip stiffened when at last I reached the top. Shafts of sunlight filtered through the narrow windows. Dust and cobwebs hung heavy in the air. And the silence... was deafening. I scanned the room for any sign of life. But the place was hollow. Dead.

Except...

Over a small wooden table, exhausted by time, lay a curled piece of paper, coiled in a scroll. The parchment crackled softly in my unsteady hands. The scroll unrolled to review the writings that only I could recognize.

I... See... You.

I heard the whispers within the shadows. The probing eyes upon me. Mocking. Doubting still.

The landscaping is wonderfully done here with the layering and colors you used and creates a nice aesthetic.  The texturing of the towers is nicely done.  The wooden part of the tower is designed very well.  Great build overall.

I really need to get myself some more dark brown so I can try the dark brown and lime combo, it looks so good!  Very cool roof on this tower too and I love how clean the whole thing looks while still having some great textures.

Thank you for the wholesome analysis, sir Zoth! Really glad you liked the overall texturing and layout. Sometimes I get to force myself to build something snowless.
Skol, brother!

Thrilled you liked this humble composition, Kai. I went for 'minimalist and clean', but I'm happy you like the slight texture variation.
And oooh yes! I'm also impressed with how the dark brown and lime green fit well together. I remember seeing this palette in a couple of Brother Steven's Mocs.
Do invest in it, as I am planning an expansion too! Now.. will this color scheme go well with snow? Scenes for a new chapter.

Cheers, Kai!

Ah, good old brittle brown. :laugh_hard: I see one of your reddish brown 1x1 cylinders has the bottom cracked.  When I built my palisade wall I must have lost almost 20 of those silly things. I lost probably 5 reddish brown pieces of various types putting the Jade Tower together.  It is the curse we all live with!

Your build, however, is superb. The dark brown and lime work quite well together as others have mentioned, and I like how you tied them both in with the green, olive, and reddish brown. The brick built flag is great too.  You have your signature elevation changes in here, which really look great.  I like your roof too, both in color choice and how sharp it looks.  The spiral staircase is good, although it's always a space-hog in small builds like this.  Your vinework on the tower is very natural and looks great.  Did you photoshop the candle light or are those LEDs in there?  Either way they look good. Beautiful work!

The beveled corners to the stonework work super well here! Nice mixture of stone and wood in general, along with some nice offsets on the tower and well.

Good work managing a very natural looking irregular base, especially with the different elevations.

Your overview photo could use a longer depth of focus so the whole model is clear at once :classic:
