I'm also starting to think this might be a $250 USD threshold since it has 3 minifigs in it.  I'm really hoping not, but it would make sense if it's also a Black Friday promo with another GWP alongside.  I was hoping for this to be a $150 promo, but I guess that's really hopeful wishing at this point.

How many LEGO designers are reading this and enjoying the speculation resulting from the teasing? Declare yourselves!

Ha ha. After the castle was actually in that back to the future video I tend to place more faith in the idea that these are teases than I used to, whereas before I just assumed I was reading too much into it.

It also looks like the woman is wearing the Dragon Masters cape.  I doubt we'd get a cape and plumes in a GWP, but there's definitely some foreshadowing in the video.

Yes nice catch.  That's too many hints lego come on let this be a return of the Dragon masters.

It's actually the Lion Knight's cape from LKC

Yeah that sucks I was hoping for something different.  I forgot it has the edging detail to the cape.

Theres also the old dragon mold from the kingdoms line in the background on one of the gifts.

On the Instagram post, another theory is that a Red Dragon is rumored to be coming to Creator line Jan 1 (31145), so perhaps the plume is representative of that set. Even if that is true, it doesn't foreclose that Dragon Masters are still coming.

D&D set is likely to have a green dragon, so not a reference to that I bet.  Unless they're also role-playing too?

I'm wondering if they will still go with green dragon for D&D, since the most iconic baddie dragon is the Red Dragon in the series.  I know that's what was in the winner design, but things could still change a lot for the set.

Good catch.  I just saw the red and yellow and thought it was the Dragon Masters cape, was looking at mine a few days ago lol.  Should've realized it wasn't as detailed.

But on that note, if LEGO did decide to make a new helmet piece and/or accessory piece with a dragon motif, there's a very real possibility they could come up with uses for it in Ninjago as well as Castle.

Good point!

This feels very intentional; the dragon plume could have been included in the background somewhere, rather than being placed directly in the centre of the frame! Also, the woman on the left has the classic cone hat, which might return in the MTS. 🤔

Hello! First time posting, but I’m a long-time lurker. Was wondering if anyone else had spotted the dragon plume in the latest post on Lego’s Instagram account?

Welcome! And a nice find

I'd be super happy if they made more horse helmets for the modern horse design.  Here's hoping for the future of Castle

I forgot about the GWP with the horse, It is a fantastic deal if we can get both Majisto and the horse in one buy :sweet:

I know the dragons knights have the 3 different plumes, but is it possible they remake only the dragon and use some existing parts as the other two?

It would certainly be interesting if the Dragon Masters helmet accessories were re-released. Back in the day they used to come on a sprue that you would punch them out of—these days accessories like that tend to be pre-separated and bagged in a pre-pack.

However, I wouldn't necessarily take a video like this as proof of anything.

honestly when I first saw the video I thought "huh, maybe that COULD be a good sign for them reintroducing that plume" — especially since most of the other parts and figures I noticed on my first watch were modern ones.

But after folks pointed out that the Harry Potter baby dragon mold also shows up in that scene, I've re-watched the video and noticed a few other molds that were retired years ago (like the old triple flower stems with a stud and anti stud outside the front door, or several of the old soft plastic book piece in the main hallway). Plus a few long-retired printed element, most significantly Timmy's torso from the Time Cruisers and FreeStyle themes.

So at this point I wouldn't read much into in the dragon plume's appearance in that video. :sceptic: But I wouldn't mind being proven wrong!

Wht one with horse GWP are ou talking about?

There apparently are coming a x-mas GWP with a horse, so I assume it is the "marked stall" one:shrug_oh_well: Will be very disappointed if it turns out it is a brick-built horse

Brick-built horse, but with a new fully moulded stall element.

Stacking the Majisto GWP with another GWP is great on the one hand, but does it potentially mean a smaller budget for it on the other?

Well the plume is used as dragon for the castle. And that one would always be rather present in sets than somwhere in the background. As for the cone. I don´t see a use for that one in that set. I mean aside from a wizard, which won´t be in the MTS, who would wear it?

Well the winter market stall won´t have a horse if you ask me. However there is going to be a winter ride gwp, and that one should have the horse - but that one also is coming on first of december, so not with the Majisto GWP.

Well they could aswell do all 3 since it would be one mould only anyways. But I still have my doubt that we will see any, so we will see when more details show up

The Majisto set with a horse is the tower; the name of the GWP (Majisto’s Magical Workshop) confirms that it will be based on the horseless workshop, not the tower.

The old Castle cone hat is in the video as well. That said, I can see it returning in the MTS.

that would be wonderful if it’s a molded horse!

These are two diferrent ones, if the rumors are right.

40602 - Winter Market Stall

40603 - Horse And Cart

Yep. 👍
Though I thought that the most recent name for the set was “Medieval Town Square”, not “Medieval Market Square”.

Hmm, if they meant that set, I don't think there's any rumors of a magical element so far in the upcoming Town Square where a wizard hat would fit.  It's all realistic professions - cheesemaker, etc.

I'm out of the loop on Disney 100, but was there nothing for sorcerer's apprentice?  That hat could be used for both figures (not Mickey as he needs ears).

Any meaning in the old series 18 CMF red dragon as well?  He runs around the table right before the plume appears, and it seems interesting that they use an older CMF rather than a recent CMF (23 for the green version).  Red seems to be a theme!
