I have a v2 receiver that only works half the time, the light turns on sometimes when I wiggle the cord but doesn’t stay on. I opened it up but I didn’t see anything not connected. I have the same problem with some of the motors too. anybody know what might be wrong?

Sounds like broken wires if it works wiggle one way and not the other.

Yeah, that's happened to me with lots and lots of PF components. I've usually fixed it by opening it up, cutting out the part of the wire where it enters the device, and resoldering the shortened wire back up. It's harder with receivers, though, because they need 4 wires soldered to a PCB.

Do you use multiple IRs with same battery? I had this very strange problem, 3 IRs (1 with extension cable) connected to same AA battery box, only one IR was working. In this setup the V2 was bottom plug, V1 centre and extension top. I changed plug of the IR with extension wire to the bottom and then all IRs started to work.

Before cutting wires, check out the contacts on the cable plug and PF rx are making contact with each other.

Just ease out the  contacts on the plug & PF Rx. and test.

Its worked for me.
