Tlw128Cs.jpgTpg3JbXs.jpgUUo0jBss.jpgch9p9Oe.jpgThis is something i've been working on for a while now but I'm constantly changing bits to get it as accurate as possible to the film version which I was lucky enough to see once.....well the half. I'm also using images of the screen accurate model that was built by a group including 1 of the original designers. Seen some great designs on here and have bought instructions but my asd means I'm constantly botherered by bits that dont look right. Here's a few pics of progress so far

Hey, that looks awesome, but the first three pics are minuscule; you think you could upload them bigger? It'd be a pity to miss out on such a beauty because of such a stupid issue.

Hope the upsized pics work. This may be 1 of those projects that keeps me going for 12 months or more lol

Hope the new pics help. I think the tiny ones are because I loaded all 4 from imgur at once

Yeah, that's tough.  With Lego, there are two versions of accuracy:

1) Figuring out how to work with bricks at small, often not-quite-right scale to make it look "close enough" to the real things.

2) Go very large to the point where the available parts can better replicate smaller, more intricate details.

Clearly, you've gone for the latter, and the results are breathtaking.  I enjoy both, but time/funds dictate that I have to stick to the former.  It's still rewarding for me, but you have to accept that it will never be totally correct.
