Supersick_ Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Exciting! Anyone looking for a large frigate...? I can't wait to see what an Evancelt Redcoat Fort will be!!! Quote

So far it is 10 baseplates wide by 4 deep, though I think we'll need to add more water baseplates to fit more ships! The little squares are 4x4 studs, and the big squares are 32x baseplates Quote

evancelt Posted May 19, 2023 Author Posted May 19, 2023 Made a little initial progress on the island/peninsula in A3 And some progress on one of the round towers for the fort (Likely C1) Quote
NOD Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Great topic! I like the little island and the tower. Thank you for the instructions on how to build the tower. Interesting and good construction. Quote

evancelt Posted May 20, 2023 Author Posted May 20, 2023 Started mapping out the underlying plates for B3 and C3 Also removed most of the white 1x1 round plates and replaced them with stadium tiles and jumpers. This will help the walls not look quite as weathered, but retain some texture Quote
evancelt Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 Getting Big Bertha ready to sit atop that tower Quote
evancelt Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 Building out a windmill for cell D1 Still a lot more to do on the base for the windmill, but current progress: Quote
evancelt Posted August 19, 2023 Author Posted August 19, 2023 Made some more progress on the island for the fort Quote

thewatchman Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I always love seeing these huge builds using duplo blocking to pack out space. You builders are very very talented and that beach area looks great! Quote

Are the small veritcal sections with the cheese slopes attached to the rest in any way, or are they just floating? EKnight Quote
