Posted May 17, 20231 yr I liked 42147 from the beginning. Here is my first alternative - a cute little City Car. Because of its googly eyes, which remind me of a well known character of the animated movie "Ice Age" it is called Sid. Citi Glider I (aka. Sid) @ youtube I hope you like it or at least find it funny. 02_DSC3402 by Pow, Flickr 04_DSC3412 by Pow, Flickr 05_DSC3426 by Pow, Flickr Edited July 24, 2024Jul 24 by pow photos updated, changed title from destinct set to generally small Technic sets
May 17, 20231 yr Interesting thing. Could be really playable for some kid, with that unusual steering.

It has some heavy suspension steer! ;) But despite that it's absolute fun to drive around.
May 28, 20231 yr Author A motorboat with two indicated jet-powered outboard engines. The steering works like a real boat via the stern. And as Jurss pointed out: my alternates are more dedicated to kids. ...or adults who have remained a little bit of child. June 12, 20231 yr Author You know the rule. If a set has wheels, or parts that can be used as wheels. Then at least one F1 car must be built! I built one. Sorry! _DSC3525ready by Pow, Flickr _DSC3538ready by Pow, Flickr _DSC3539ready by Pow, Flickr ...at least it has a lot of different angles. Have a nice week. August 14, 20231 yr Author Another advanced one is the Motorcycle carrying an engine in its sidecar. The front wheel is steered via virtual pivot point steering. And the sidecar wheel is connected to it. The steering is seasoned with some hint of Ackermann. The engine is connected with a gear grabbing into the rear wheels. _DSC3955ready by Pow, Flickr MotorcycleAction by Pow, Flickr Edited July 24, 2024Jul 24 by pow photos updated

August 28, 20231 yr Author Thank you. I know that here in the forum such crazy things are quite taken with a certain amusement, if they are well done. So I was really looking forward to sharing this MOC here.
August 29, 20231 yr That motorcycle sidecar is genius! the steering! it wasn't even necessary but you put it in there! and an engine in there very much like all that  Love the plane too
August 30, 20231 yr Author @MangaNOID Thank you for the kind words. 22 hours ago, MangaNOID said: the steering! it wasn't even necessary but you put it in there! It had the agility of an ocean liner before the integration of sidecar steering.
September 10, 20231 yr Author This spiffy tiny Trial Truck has springless suspension following @Superkoala's idea mounting two linked pendular axles to the car. To fit in all features (steering and suspension), the horizontal steering axle had to be used as mounting point for the front axle. I expected the steering to be hard to move. ...In this small form factor it just works. _DSC4062ready by Pow, Flickr _DSC4087ready by Pow, Flickr XtraActionGif1 by Pow, Flickr Supercoalas Video for his Expedition Truck with springless suspension: Â Edited July 24, 2024Jul 24 by pow photos updated
September 10, 20231 yr Wow, it's impressive to get that to work in such a small model, with such limited pieces available!
October 17, 20231 yr Author Let me introduce you to my latest creation - a Transformer. The construction was very time consuming. But I think the effort was worth it. The cabin looks a little bit wild. But everything at tire height has become very elegant. There are also some funny solutions to look at. For example, the antennas on the Transformers head. They poke into the legs when folded into a truck. This prevents the wheels from spreading out when driving around. _DSC4294ready by Pow, Flickr xtraGif by Pow, Flickr Edited July 24, 2024Jul 24 by pow photos updated

I'm making good progress on the one model! I mainly just have to build the bodywork at the rear of the car, but I'm also going to be away from my Lego most of next week, so it'll probably be a few weeks yet.
