Posted May 22, 20231 yr Time for another little MOC, and this little BMW E30 3 series is ready to roll. Free instructions are available at rebrickable.com. The Touring model features: Steering with HOG Rear wheel drive I-6 engine Four opening doors Opening hood/bonnet Opening truck/boot Lime! An I-6, but only 5 pistons move. And a little video if it's helpful. Enjoy!
May 22, 20231 yr I have watched your video probably a dozen times now! I really like your design, though I will probably only retain the body style. I would like to add suspension to them. Do you have instructions on the red and white models as well? Worse-case I can reverse-engineer, but I would like to have the instructions if available
May 22, 20231 yr These are great, what a cool little build to do to kill some time, and give a rest to the bigger longer builds. A+++

A+++ Thanks again, and let me know how you like the build. OK, I have the sedan ready and posted. The sedan is similar to the Touring model, and you can find free instructions at rebrickable.com. The Sedan model features: Steering with HOG Rear wheel drive V-8 engine swap Four opening doors Opening hood/bonnet Opening truck/boot With everything open. The cup car will be done tomorrow, so stay tuned. I hope you all enjoy.
May 23, 20231 yr Wow! Good job. Does each version share the same chassis, or has each of them a unique chassis design?

Generally, they are the same, but slight changes are present depending on the engine (I6, V8), and the Cup Car is just a little shorter. 27 minutes ago, msk6003 said: I will waiting cup car version. It looks very good. Thanks, I have a couple more steps to finish, but the Cup Car will be posted today. 19 minutes ago, Milan said: Frontpaged. Thanks again!

Alright, the third and final version is ready: the Cup Car! These early BMWs always make me think of inexpensive, little, race cars, so a cup car version was always part of the plan for this project. Again, you may find free instructions at Rebrickable.com. The Cup Car model features: Steering with HOG Rear wheel drive I-6 engine Two opening doors Opening hood/bonnet Opening truck/boot Roll cage Sorry about the missing part. And here they are all together. I hope you all enjoyed this little project!
May 25, 20231 yr This is simply awesome. Wish Lego would take note how to spice up this scale with "normal" cars and not just pure sport+racing cars. Edited May 26, 20231 yr by Jundis

Thanks, and I'm glad you like it. Yeah, I tend to like the normal cars a bit too; basically any three box design with four doors. Other people can have their Bugattis, I'll take a sedan any day.
