Scout for Rebels with the INT-4

The INT-4 Interceptor is a scout craft used by the Galactic Empire.

A short-range flyer operated by a single pilot, it can be carried within the body of an All Terrain Armored Transport.

Several INT-4s were used by the Empire to scout for the Rebel base on Hoth.

It has a cockpit module with an entrance hatch at the top, two stabiliser wings, laser cannon and landing gear.

In keeping with the Galactic Empire's preference for subdued colours, the hull of the INT-4 is painted grey.

That's how the INT-4 Mini-Rig was originally described.

Having played with the Kenner toy many moons ago, I decided to take a stab at a Lego version :

I've tried to make my version as compact as possible ; it clocks in at just below 16 studs long, 9 studs wide (16 with stabiliser wings deployed) and 8 studs high :

The stabiliser wings are deployable :

Cockpit features include a console and faux potolli-weave upholstery :

It's a tight fit, but there's just enough room for a pilot :

Personal nitpick : the top hatch is held in place with a bracket, not a functional hinge (which would break up the silhouette IMO).

Hope you like it, all constructive feedback is appreciated !
