jp-30 Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 (edited) The gigantic Gorax is attacking the Ewoks in their village on Endor. Based on Return of the Jedi concept art by Ralph MCQuarrie. The Gorax also made its live action debut it the movie "Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure". Flickr starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Gorax Edited June 4, 2023 by jp-30 Quote
MKJoshA Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Fantastic use of Pterodactyl wings for ears! And I recognized the design as a McQuarrie right away. Nicely executed. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 What a horror! Poor Ewoks. The use of the wings and palm leafs is ingenius! Quote

Thanks both, the wings for ears I used last year on M4-22's Salacious Crumb. Glad you recognised the inspiration, Josh. :) Quote
thomas_jenkins_bricks Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 What a wild entry for this category. I think Endor will be a popular source of inspiration but this is a very unique spin on it. The face is very well rendered and the resemblance of the creature from the McQuarrie painting is uncanny! Well done! Quote
