[M4-23 - Imperial Ship] TIE/D Automated Starfighter

hello there.

Here is my TIE/D drone for the 'Imperial Ship'-category, and another Legends/EU-entry. I went with a rather simple ship. Or so I thought...

The build was way more challenging than I inicially thought. From making the wings elegant and sleek while still being sturdy enough, to the almost perfect round shape of the cockpit.

 

TIE drones - or TIE/D automated starfighters - were built in the so called World Devastators under the command of the reborn Emperor Palpatine ('Somehow, Palpatine returned..."), approximately six years after the battle of Endor. Although being relatively simple and cheap machines, their sheer number posed a serious threat to the New Republic's fleet.

Nice re-creation and great job with that half-stud offset on the wings!

I like this, it has a simplicity to it with minimal studs and nice smooth shapes. It's nice to see another innovation on the TIE Fighter cockpit too. Does it seat a figure?
