Broke bricks and missing bricks, option, did not work for the missprinted tiles. So had to message via their webpage, let's see how it works. I would not worry! I sent them back in December request about the stickers and they sent these to me back then, while a couple weeks ago I sent request for the misprinted tiles via the webpage message form again and after a picture I sent them as proof (requested by them) they have already posted me (have not received yet) the correctly printed tiles. They may ask for a picture as evidence as well as for the factory number which is printed on the box, in my case on the duct tape that kept the box closed/sealed (difficult to see number). Quote
Shiva Posted May 13, 2024 Posted May 13, 2024 Ahh, cheers. I did take a photo of the printed tiles and sticher sheet. Then I put everything in the box and shipping box. If factory number needed, I can get it out of the shipping box, again. Quote
Shiva Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 ElGreco, the information I provided, seemed to be enough. And yikes! I gave the wrong sticker number by mistake, I hope my email answer gets there before they send the package! Quote

I gave the wrong sticker number by mistake, I hope my email answer gets there before they send the package! I would not worry! After all these months they should be familiar with both issues (sticker and misprinted tiles). For example, I sent them the part number of the misprinted tiles to be replaced and they automatically ordered the correct ones…. Yes, the correctly printed tiles have different part number! But you can verify this also by checking the order contents they placed on your behalf to their warehouse by logging in the Lego site (of your country and assuming you have an account there). I was able to trace the progress of any replacement bricks, stickers etc through the Lego site, orders section (obviously using my Lego account credentials). Lastly, yes, they are pretty good at the follow up of the ticket emails so probably they will see your answer on time as well. To be honest I am really happy with Lego aftersales support with only exception the very very long time it takes for their order to arrive, while also their “replacement” orders do not have a track number… you just wait, A LOT! All the best! Quote
dylanfarrow Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 thank you all / both for the info - Got my set a couple of weeks ago - hoping I don't have to request new parts..... Quote
Space78 Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 I'm still waiting for a good GWP or other deal to order this set. Hopefully, they've corrected the errors in the sets by now. Quote
Shiva Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 (edited) @ElGreco part number for the tiles are correct, does say 1x each tho? Sticker, that is the wrong one, I wrote about first. Not seen corrections yet. + not got any answers on the followup emails, yet. dylanfarrow, you could check that you have the correct, but I suspect you'll be ok. Edited May 15, 2024 by Shiva Quote

Well, it should be 4x of each, total 8 correctly-printed tiles. Have a look at the details below extracted from my “order” which by the way I placed on 28.4 and have not received yet (it has status: shipped, the last 10 days): FLAT TILE 1X8, NO. 113 Item: 6519718 Quantity: 4 0,00 € FLAT TILE 1X8, NO. 114 Item: 6519719 Quantity: 4 0,00 € Edited May 16, 2024 by ElGreco Quote

No, you should not remove the “Re” part of the reply subject. In any case, if they check your email on time, they will cancel this “order” and make a new one. Even if they don’t do that on time, I believe they will resend you the correct one based always on your last email. This is what I have experienced until now from Lego aftersales support and hope the same is your case. Quote
Shiva Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 Well, the pieces have shipped, ElGreco, And list is still the same. Quote
ElGreco Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Then you have to send another VERY SPECIFIC email regarding which and how many pieces you need :( I don’t know if it is better to start a new rocket or reply on the old one. Quote
ElGreco Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Hi again! after a couple weeks of waiting I finally received my OE correctly printed tiles, together with some other items that had issues not only in this set but also in the Disney train station (misaligned sticker printouts), Alpine lodge (missing toilet door) etc. I believe that the aftersales support is really good but most probably for this to happen, we have to be really precise on what we ask them to send us. Shiva Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Good that you got the parts :) I'll try to be very specific, on the next email, or new report. Quote
Shiva Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 ElGreco, seems that LEGO finally saw my emails + they made another order batch to send me. This time with the other 3 tiles of each and the correct golden sticker. Quote

Shiva Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Update, today I got the 2nd envelope from LEGO. Now I do have all the corrected stickers and plates :) Quote
Polarlicht Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 (edited) I got this set today and got the wrong tiles and stickers as well. How do the correct tiles even look like. Never seen someone replace them. Whats the correct name? "München" and "Bucuresti"? Edited June 4, 2024 by Polarlicht Quote
Shiva Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Yes, those are the correct spellings. There is 4 of each, in the set. Those correct plates can be seen here on bricklink https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4162pb296 , https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4162pb297 For the golden sticker, this the correct one -> https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=21344stk02 Quote
Acenos Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 So I got a question to ask. Any possible candidates on what locomotives the engine might be based on? Quote
Daedalus304 Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 There's been plenty of speculation, but I think this picture pretty well confirms which engine LEGO's Orient Express is based on: This being a Swiss "705 SBB A 3/5". Quote
Yoggington Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 I picked this up this week and have begun the build - it's a gorgeous model. My only complaints so far 1) The stickers, and in particular the ones for the doors. I'm usually fine with stickers in sets, but something about these little ones for the curved doors has me misplacing every other one. Time to pop out the hot tea (patent: RH) 2) I seriously underestimated the length of the thing (1.16m), and now have nowhere to display it. Quote

I've got a shelf waiting. :) I'll probably pick this set up with the "Black Friday/Insiders" deals when I can get double points and a GWP. It will be interesting to see what the GWP(s) are this year.
