I asked why they where IP marked and then later not. Most likely a human error that IP marked them, then when they double-checked later they removed the IP mark since it is no reason why they should have it

It would be November of 2023 since Eldorado was released on July 4th, 2023.

i'm assuming that the count would start from the point they realized they'd labelled the parts wrong and removed the IP-protected tag from them.

I do not think so, that would not effect storage, parts needed for sets and parts needed as replacement parts..

Did anyone build the set on MILS plates with tiled water? I wonder how that would look like. In such a modular layout you also could add additional water space and other islands easily.

Oh surely, but it would effect all the paperwork and internal work orders governing the process of adding those parts to the online store.

There's an example of this for Barracuda Bay on rebrickable called "MOC - Exposition base for Pirates of Barracuda Bay"

Oh yeah, that looks much better! But i must say, i am not so much a fan of the medium azure plates anyway and prefer tiled water. Still i wonder (and i already talked about this in an other thread) if there is anybody out there who builds and big pirate/imperial layout (or any other historic setting). There are many people who build towns but no Lego Pirates town?!?

That's lovely and better than I expected a rectangular base to look. I was pondering whether you could make a base that preserved the non-square base, as I think I rather like that from the sets.

When I go to the Canadian Lego website I'm not seeing all the pieces, perhaps it changed but I'm pretty sure that is you view the pieces in Eldorado fortress, then click on the mini figure filter and view the pieces with "out of stock" filter on it still won't show them... You have to go the the main PAB page click on the out of stock and then go the the last pages filled with out of stock, there hidden there. Everywhere I have looked, the Canadian, British, German, Australian, and American websites are all the same, all out for now but from prior experience most parts in PAB will be available soon, they like to play that game of not having the piece all year then magically having it during the Hollidays.

Just be patient and check the site frequently, it’s worked for me in the past when I Army build pirates and knights from previous recent sets! I was just happy my order got confirmed with everything I wanted.  Now to wait 28 days hehe.
